Even if you were to agree Hangman was in the wrong - I really don't think he was - it's still nowhere remotely as bad as what Punk did just between the calling him out unprompted months after the fact and the press conference. Hangman was throwing out a no-details mention of a real life situation in a way where no one really picked up on it (besides thinking it felt kind of weird and out of place) while Punk made a giant spectacle of it both times. Muffin-gate was so crazy I forgot about that business with Punk calling Page out Yeah like, I know hindsight in 20/20, but any time a talent goes off script to call out another talent by name to deliberately disrupt the show - that should have been an immediate red flag not to put the top title on him ever again.

Honestly no wonder Punk thought he was bulletproof to go on his scrum tirade when Tony's response to him doing that like three weeks prior was, "Let's throw him a parade in his hometown!"

Shit I forgot that before his comments in that interview was that "Coward shit" line. Yeah so we're now up to the following being done since that worker's right's line: -Everything being talked out in May -Hangman putting Punk over without shooting on Punk ever because like of course Hangman was not shooting on Punk, -Punk returning and giving Hangman back his receipt -Hangman not doing any further spite moves -Dirtsheets reporting about the situation and that that line from four months earlier was an off-script line -Punk going on to talk about it in a real news interview -Hangman still doing nothing -Punk getting everything he wants on-screen then doing the scrum meltdown
At this point if we want to say that Hangman's one-off comment from earlier is what started this all off, then that's an even worse statement about CM Punk as a person and how he handles his anger than anything being said by the people who think it's unreasonable to blame Hangman for what he went off on. The idea that a comment about workers rights would make all of this happen is to say that CM Punk is actually incapable of existing in society because none of this is justified.

Hangman's workers rights line/promo was so innocuous and inconsequential, that I was legitimately shocked to find out that it was apparently the trigger for Punk's paranoia/meltdown. A hit dog will holler. Page suggested Punk was self-centered, and Punk confirmed it repeatedly.

The Eddie Kingston match was fantastic. You won't see many 10-minute matches as great as that one was. That match left me wanting more. Like holy hell. That mini-fued was criminally short. What I loved about it, was that Eddie Kingston was so loved that he got Punk booed. Keep in mind, this was freshly returned after a 7 year hiatus Punk who was still fairly early on in the honeymoon phase of his return. So for him to get booed like that, speaks volumes. Shame we'll never get the rematch, but under the circumstances, it doesn't bother me too much.

I literally would have put money on Khan’s new masterplan being a heel Punk as champion post-All Out eventually being knocked off by Kingston. In fairness, even if Punk had kept his muffin-crumb riddled mouth shut Punk was still going to be out for the guts of a year regardless with his muscle tear. Mox’s comments regarding Punk in the All Out build were eerily prophetic in hindsight.

I've said it before, but why would any wrestler in any company want to work with Punk now? When you look at how he reacted to one line from Hangman?
It says something that the guy he called out on live TV is the one of the chillest guys in the company.

Besides Starz, I don't think Punk has much of a Hollywood career going, or would after his reputation from the scrum.
Can't imagine being him being an "Acting Leader" there either without causing trouble.

The longer this stuff goes on with Colt the more I actually think that Punk 100% shit talked Colt relentlessly to Tony and had a hand in him being minimized. "Punk didn't even try to get him fired, he was voluntarily not wanting to do anything' just rings as funky.

Can you just imagine that conversation? *Punk walks into the office of the owner of the company he works for, which was entirely bankrolled by that guy’s father’s money “Get a load of this Cabana guy, Tony. Can you believe he still has a bank account with his mommy?!”

That Hausman report is so funny.
Oh WWE wants to pay Punk 10 million for one year!
Cabana got HIMSELF removed from AEW shows
CM Punk is the most handsome, nicest wrestler in the world and is just about to become a big Hollywood star.

Even Baghdad Bob thinks that Nick Hausman was trying too hard to put on a good PR spin for CM Punk.
