They need to do an angle where Rasta the Voodoo Mon and Papa Shango have teamed up to place a voodoo curse over AEW and the only way to lift it is for Jim Ross to rap about his ass. The big man is back. Boom Shakalaka The Poison has been injected..into My ASS

Well we do need more Col. Parker on TV. Man when people bring him up all I can think of is the stories about his giant hog and then it's like uh gross. Or how he shat himself on TV.

Worst thing about all of this is that all of that work to bring MJF back in the fold just seems like a wasted effort now Which…again…I haven’t freeness someone’s big moment undercut like this since… MJF did it to Wardlow Honestly, Khan did it to Wardlow. Wardlow beating him was probably always going to be a squash due to the story. But, Khan had him win the TNT title and just become a complete non-entity for months. That did him much dirtier than MJF drama ever did.

I do honestly kind of wonder sometimes if that was ever a resentment point for Punk, that he's good looking and all, but otherwise, Colt Cabana had a better size and is just athletically way more impressive than he is. Like, obviously, Punk got bigger in wrestling, and he is one of those guys like Lawler who excelled without being an athlete, but sometimes these insecurities aren't easy to shake. I’m just thankful he doesn’t do the elbow drop anymore. He looks like he just falls like a comet. Punk makes Becky Lynch look like 2 Cold Scorpio

Let's just have CP Munk come out as champ and pretend nothing happened You’d have to find someone other than Necro Butcher to put in the costume. He’s not all there right now, either. If he ever was.

Punk causing all this trouble on bring your dog to work day just makes me thankful he never shared a lockeroom with The Big Boss Man. This thread would be 500 pages long by now. "YOU WANT HARDCORE?! YOU CAN DAMN WELL BET THIS IS HARDCORE!!" *Beat the shit out of AL Snow with a Nightstick* "Pepper's a dead bitch and you're a dumb son of a bitch!!"

Wardlow’s win was built for TWO YEARS and the day before it happens the only story in wrestling is MJF no showed a meet and greet and may have chartered a flight. The show after the match he cuts the worked shoot promo and doesn’t sell a thing from the match or the loss. Wardlow got under from a thing they built forever. Now Wardlow is over again. What came after rehabbed him

I'm not sure what people want with that story, either he continues to destroy jobbers..or he has to do an actual feud where he may not always look strong. They aren't gonna WCW Goldberg it and have him legit destroy meaningful members of the roster so it's not an easy spot.

Let's just have CP Munk come out as champ and pretend nothing happened He can be replaced by a 90 year old man and it would take at least half a match to notice he’s moving different. Maybe even until after the match when we find out the guy is not injured. You do realize Punk wrestled like 20 matches before his first world title match with absolutely no issue right? And the first injury happened on a stage dive into fans and not an actual match? I get dunking on Punk is cool right now but acting like the dude's been made of glass this entire time or he hasn't been putting on great in ring work is a weird stance to take. Making fun of people for getting hurt on accident doesn't sit right with me, Punk getting hurt like this causing a similar scenario twice is funny, but pointing and going "He's a frail old man who can't move and always gets hurt" is... a weird stance to take.

It's luckily not impacted Wardlow's overness at all, but they really need to get him more TNT Title open challengers, and it's weird they haven't done more until recently.

Strip the Bucks & Omega of the trios title and award it to the Acclaimed & Billy Gunn because.

joking aside, i think we can all agree that wrestling might genuinely be the thing that brings out the worst in punk
he seemed pretty well adjusted for the *most part* when he wasn't wrestling, he might just need to stay away from it for his own good

He just happened to turn 90 before the last two I didn't see that issue at all, I thought he had some of the best matches and in ring work of his entire career in this year of AEW. Punk was never a gifted athlete but he could always tell a great story in ring, and he did so with a lot of the people he faced and did a damn good job with it. That included the Moxley match on Sunday where he battled through an injury to get to what many believed to be a masterclass finish. Didn't look like an old man out there to me and plenty of others.

It's not like many are doing that nowadays, anyway.
