TK tried to get me in the crowd back in the day and tried paying me in Jackson Jags merch. Like bro, I'm a wrestling fan AND a Bears fan. I'm already embarrassed of myself, why are you trying to embarrass me more? 😩

All I'm saying is that for a while there pre-Punk,Khan had to literally pay people to be in the audience ... what?!Are you talking about when the pandemic meant that the crowd at Dailys Place had to be other wrestlers? I mean he was technically paying them to sit in the audience...

Except she's beyond biased, and not currently employed by AEW. Why would they interview her? It's not a criminal investigation and she wouldn't be adding anything new Why is she beyond biased ? Wouldn’t you want to talk to everyone who was in that locker room. Well maybe she might add details that don’t reflect well on the EVPs and that’s why she wasn’t interviewed. The optics look terrible btw that they didn’t interview her. If your issue is that an entirely biased non-employee wasn't interviewed for an internal investigation, your opinion on the matter was already decided.

You have no proof of that whatsoever. What about if she would've added details that were positive of the EVPs? Would you still be saying then that she should've been interviewed?

Making a prediction that at some point by December 2023 we get a CM Punk podcast on the Conrad network. The way Conrad's mentioned him in such glowing ways on the Foley podcast (Which is a great podcast in general that I really enjoy) makes me think Conrad is planting the seeds and that they're in some form of talks.

I'm not sure that's something you can sell.

Maybe you morons could do that if you had some Blue Chew, so I don't have to be the one doing everything around here! I've got a podcast to run!"

Making another prediction that by December 2024 we’ll have another 500+ page thread about how Punk’s burned his bridge with Conrad and this might really definitely be it for Punk in wrestling until Court Bauer eventually sacrifices enough goats to get Fun-Time Phil to do a cursed MLW run. Making another prediction that by December 2025……………

Nah, MLW and NWA are too niche for Punk to see them as worth him time. He only took a 'chance' on AEW when there was just about no chance left in the whole situation and he knew he was going to get everything right as he wanted it. Those kinds of moves just are not happening in Corgan Town. If WWE doesn't want him back, he's not coming back to the ring anywhere, because there's just nowhere viable enough that is going to give him what he's after.

She easily could’ve given info that backed up the EVPs but the reporting is she wasn’t even interviewed which I find bizarre. I just find this whole business depressing as yes CM Punk dug his own grave by ranting like a nutcase to the press. What disappointed me more, because punk being a dickhead isn’t news, was Tony Khan sitting there and not pulling punk up on his rant, which as owner I feel he had EVERY justification to do IMO and didn’t. And then the EVPs who I’ve said previously had a right to be pissed at what punk said, but muddied the waters by going to confront him when they did. They are EVPs of a major wrestling company and should be held to a higher standard, and should’ve gone through the proper channels so they didn’t give punk a reason to play the victim.

I think the bucks and omega had every right to go to Tony khan and ask what he intended to do to punk after his rant at the press scrum. I’ve no idea what they were thinking then going to confront punk was going to achieve. I know that if I have issue in work I don’t don’t confront the person, I go to my line manager and put on record my issues.

You'd have to think if the Bucks had any inclination toward things turning physical, or expected them to, they wouldn't have brought the company's lawyer with them. It turning into a fight was all Punk.

He literally told them on an international broadcast to come talk to him and they still brought with them other management parties.

The EVPs are their direct bosses and brought in both people that would also be below then but be counted as Punk bosses as in Talent Relations and the head of legal. So it doesnt sound like they did anything wrong. After he openly invited then to come talk to then

It turning into a fight was all Punk. One would think that all it would take is turning to Megha and telling her "If they lay a hand on any of us we're going to sue this company into the ground" to defuse that particular situation, but it seems like Punk is less interestedi n hwether anyone is going to attack him, and more in what behavior he can justify with the belief someone will attack him. Because again, the alternative is a level of paranoia where the man needs actual help

I’ve no idea what they were thinking then going to confront punk was going to achieve. Punk invited them to come see him, and they did, with the company lawyer in tow. They almost certainly didn't think that Punk was going to be stupid enough to throw hands, they were thinking we need to make sure Punk doesn't spend the night going on a muffin fueled rant on twitter.
