I'll never understand it. People are free to watch and not watch whatever they want, but even when WWE was at its most miserable under Vince I still wanted it to be good. I think with a lot of people here, they don't want AEW to die. They want Tony to start putting his foot down and stop letting the inmates run the asylum. Nobody wants to see him turn into another late-era Bischoff or Dixie Carter. And we have our winner. That’s the point that many are trying to make. Tony khan if he’s not careful will turn into 1998 Bishchoff which by his own admission was not a good year.

He's blaming All Out not doing as good business wise as last year on WWE doing two shows this weekend when one of them was in Florida in front of a few hundred people and the other was on another continent. Plus, no one pays $50 for WWE PPVs anymore. You could watch both CATC and World's Collide on the network. I doubt there were many people thinking "well I really wanted to order All Out but that 9.99 I already spent really put me in a hole."
And the building didn't sell out this time because the show wasn't as hot as last year and they were doing a package deal with Dynamite/Rampage tickets that would have put some people off who just wanted to go to All Out. It had absolutely nothing to do with WWE and suggesting it is is pure cope on his part.
And the worst thing is he doesn't even have to make up any excuses. He doesn't have to have a press conference and answer all these awkward questions. He doesn't have to reply to randoms on Twitter. AEW is a private company. He doesn't have to say shit and honestly I think it would be better for everyone if he just took more of a backseat publicly and let his shows do the talking. I don't need to be hearing a quote from Tony Khan every other day.

Tony's mad because WWE ran a show for a few hours before his show and knew it would cause people to have trouble staying awake for the entire 9 hours of All Out.

Comments like what he said that reminds me of the old TNA section when a lot of people wanted Impact to die.
I'll never understand it. People are free to watch and not watch whatever they want, but even when WWE was at its most miserable under Vince I still wanted it to be good. I wanted Vince gone and I got that. Granted it happened in a way I never thought it would. I was resigned to the idea that Vince would die or otherwise become incapacitated before leaving WWE. Granted I still don't watch WWE because I don't have time or patience anymore to watch 13(!) hours a wrestling a week between WWE, AEW, Impact, and New Japan. That and Kevin Dunn's camerawork gives me headaches. But I am glad that Vince's leaving has not only improved the product but also made for a much better backstage environment. I just don't want to go back to the dark days of the WWE monopoly.

You know what? I wouldn’t usually post this salty a comment but it’s Labor Day and I’ve been busting my ass in the steel industry for 20 years now.
Tony Khan bragging about his money in any context is bullshit. Everything he has in life came from Daddy. f*** this cokehead brat.

There are absolutely some disgusting people who make it their personality, ya'll know the Twitter accounts...

HHH doesn't have to worry about defeating them They will have self-destructed in a year at this rate. I mean that's a lot of people's dreams online. Trolls would absolutely love to go back to the WWE Monopoly with no competition and niche Indies that no longer have a support system. AEW was and is like the proof that mainstream wrestling can exist outside of WWE, some people would love to see that dream die. it's also ridiculous hyperbole. AEW is going through a rough patch booking-wise (it's my opinion that this Punk nonsense is an elaborate work that just did not land at all). that said, doomer bullshit about how AEW is somehow in trouble just because of a rough couple months coupled with a whole entire month of actual good WWE booking need to touch grass.

They had a PPV on a different day in a different f***ing country but sure, it was all planned to spoil YOUR show.
The matches? The results? No-one is talking about that, all they’re talking about is the boss being a paranoid lunatic and his talent running over the top of him and the company looking like a f***ing clown show.
These media things need to end and Tony needs to disappear from public view. The guy is a liability to his own company.

I think he’s just saying he has the money to take legal action? Or he’s implying he’s more powerful because his networth is larger. Either way i’d say the fella needs a PR lesson, which is surprising already spending his life helping run sports teams.

Allegedly he like the vp of talent in both endeavors. Hes not doing a very good job IMO. Fulham is always up and down with relegation and the Jags are really bad.

He does so in theory its all about how much money they want to spend in order to get their company to a level. Jim Crockett and Verne Gagne were smaller business owner compared to a billionaire coming into this and having money to survive dirty tactics by the wwe
Yes this also ignores major mistakes in business and how conservative either or were combating Vince McMahon in the 80s

This is somewhat what we should want though for the industry. Part of WWE's dominance came from their financial resources to out muscle other companies who were too small to match them. Most companies would've folded when challenged to not run MSG. Luckily ROH had Sinclair legal at the time to help their cause. I don't care where the money came from. I want a billionaire wasting whatever money he has on wrestling to make it a healthier industry because WWE stomping out competition won't stop with Vince gone.
