On his first day back he'd probably get in a fight with AJ Styles. Or KO

At this point he’s a more famous version of Austin Aries and Low Ki. He pulls the same crap but gets away with it due to his fan following. And with Tony Khan making Bischoff’s mistake in trying to be one of the boys rather than the boss, it’s the only reason he hasn’t been canned from AEW yet.

WWE’s locker room seems to be the happiest it’s been in years. Signing CM Punk would be like the non-kayfabe version of “injecting a lethal dose of poison” backstage. Give him a call in a few years and see if he wants to do the hall of fame. That’s as far as any possible offers they should be giving him. This is where I'm at, a potential hall of fame induction in a few years and maybe a deal to put his character in the video games are the extent of business I'd be okay with. Definitely not bringing him onto the roster with all the locker room headaches it could cause.

I’m not gonna try and say that he was wrong and that the work environment wasn’t toxic for him at the time, but it really does look like this guy is his own worst enemy.
And for him to air his grievances about wwe upon his triumphant return, looking back at it makes this guy sound god damn delusional.
Hope he gets the help he honestly needs.

There is no way Triple H wants Punk back in the Company after what happened between them a decade ago. And honestly i doubt Punk would last long anywhere, at this point i wouldn't be suprised if he leaves AEW this Year. This was from earlier today ANYWAY, NO. NO. No. WHY?

CM Punk being an old part timer taking away spots from younger and better guys would be the cherry on top of the already massive CM Punk Asshole Hypocrite Sundae.

Punk is one of the biggest marks in the business.
I initially wanted him in AEW because I wanted them to have that boost of being the company to bring him back but honestly, the novelty has wore off quick.
His attitude backstage is embarrassing. This isn't a guy who should be face of any company.
If you want proof of that, look at his antics on Sunday.... But he will pretend like he should've been "the guy" over Cena and the company screwed him over by daring to have him face The Undertaker at Mania instead of main eventing against The Rock.
At this point, I'm starting to think WWE were right all along. Punk only cares about "change" if HE is the guy on top. If it's guys like Hangman or Kenny at the top, that doesn't work for him, brother.
On top of all this, he just isn't a mega star. He's a popular star in wrestling. But nobody outside of wrestling even knows who he is and that goes for a lot of guys these days who simply just don't "get it".
They think that "being themselves" with their fake MMA movesets, shooty promos and shit psychology is enough to make it in the business and it just isn't. Sure, you might get over with the smarks who eat up that shit and you might even get to hold the World Title. But that's not "making it". A lot of these guys have way too big of egos and to be quite honest, they'd just be f***ing jobbers back in the 80s and 90s. That goes for Punk, the Young Bucks, Sammy Guevara and basically any wrestler who looks like my next door neighbour. If you put those guys in the ring against The Ultimate Warrior or Hulk Hogan back in the day, most fans would've laughed their ass off. And that's not counting if they were standing across the ring from fat guys like Andre, Yoko, Bigelow etc.

We get it you don't like the tinier guys If you ask CM Punk, he will tell you he is the guy who will get the casual fans intrigued and create another wrestling boom. In reality, non wrestling fans are looking at him and thinking "Who's this tattooed guy with the average physique who looks like he hasn't slept in years?" In UFC, there was zero buzz surrounding him from non wrestling fans. Compare that to when Brock came over. That's because everyone knew Brock was a bad Motherf***er. Everyone wanted to see him. Nobody took Punk serious in a "real fight" and this is something that goes largely under the radar when it comes to the main eventers these days. If it looks like a FAN could kick their ass... Why would anyone pay money to see them? I said it before and I'll say it again. There's too many MARKS in the business these days. And Punk is the biggest mark of them all. AEW got their ratings by finally bringing him back and they got some good use out of him with the MJF feud... But it's time to cut their losses. They would be better long term pushing a guy like Powerhouse Hobbs or Brian Cage. THAT'S a guy who looks like he could break you in half. If I showed a non wrestling fan Brian Cage, they would say "f***ing hell, look at the size of him. Wait, did he just do a 450 SPLASH?" That's how regular, non wrestling fans think. And that's what AEW have yet to figure out. They're catering to a niche. And this is as big as they're ever gonna get if they stay this way.

This is something a lot of wrestling fans are simply in denial over. I think its because the smaller guys are more relatable. And that's fine. You can like what you like. But facts remain facts. Wrestling at its most popular had big, charismatic, larger than life characters. Not skinny MMA tough guy wannabes who no sell flipping piledrivers every 3 minutes and think going off script makes them "edgy" and good storytellers.
