At this rate, I don't even know if they would give him a Hall of Fame spot. They might not trust him on the mic unfortunately.

Only if Ace Steel gets to bite the f*** out of Road Dogg. Dog vs. Dogg in a Kennel in a Hell Cell match.

I don't think there's any notable wrestling company that really benefits from having someone not in the best head space, turning off a lot of people with his presence, and potentially being a toxic personality.
Not unless Control Your Narrative is still in business in six months anyway.

Business-wise I think it would help WWE. Say what you want about Punk, but he's been a needle mover for AEW, and programs with him and Reigns, or him and Cody, or a whole bunch of different guys (Styles, Edge, KO, etc) would be fresh matchups for him. I just don't see it happening. Punk seems like the type who will always hold a grudge, and HHH likely wants no part of Punk either. He could have great matches with people in AEW still too. But he's a massive liability and a massive drain on locker room morale.

CM Punk is now a member of your roster. Please note this contract will not go into effect until 28 days in-game time.

No, he needs to go away. Plus, with his ego, he'd never work well with guys like Brock or Roman who he'd wrongly assume are and should be below him.

WWE PPVs are still pretty good overall, and that's all I watch, so it'd be nice to see Punk again in that capacity. He'd probably get me to tune into the tv shows here and there if the promos are good.

Everyone’s saying no because they think he’s poison. I’m saying no because I want him to stay in AEW.

It feels he would be like Ultimate Warrior in 1996 and it wouldn't be a question of if he flames out but how quickly he flames out

I think its fair to say that if he does part ways with AEW, that will pretty much be it for him and Wrestling.
I would say maybe return for a Hall of Fame induction but I wouldn't trust him with a mic.. Would be like Father Ted getting his award.
And people were scared Scott Steiner would say something stupid.

No, I didn't even want him back when he was doing well in AEW.
I'd rather he succeeded over there, and he was. I don't think he and WWE will ever be a good fit again.

There's really no "dream matches" that I can think of that I'm dying to see Punk vs in the WWE. I'd be fine with him coming back in the fringes with a legends deal to get in the games, but don't think he needs to return full or part time at all.

I'm completely out on Punk. He's just one of those people who thinks it's never their fault but somehow drama and problems follow him. At some point you have to understand that it's a "you" thing, not a "them" thing.
At this point he's become late career Hulk Hogan. Whether he politics or not he went into AEW, went over all their top guys, won the world title, and now he's gone either for a while or forever.
