Reading the thread over on the AEW board, some think Triple H might reach out to Punk and do some business with him if he is fired/released from WWE.
Now with everything going on over there and everything you know.
Do you want him back in the WWE knowing all the risks involved currently.

Or, as Eva Marie’s dad might put it: No. Flat no.

AEW rolled out the red carpet for Punk and treated him like a top star from jump and he's seemingly doing everything to torch that relationship to the ground. Do you really want him back where he could do the same in WWE? Especially after its own backstage situation is recovering from years of madness? Especially since the acrimony between him and Triple H is even worse than it was with Vince McMahon? Not only does WWE not need him, but I think he'd be actively detrimental to their atmosphere. Only thing Punk seems to need right now is some therapy.

There was a time I would have hit yes in a heartbeat.
That time has passed.

Lol definitely not with Triple H involved if you think the backstage environment in AEW is bad right now

WWE’s locker room seems to be the happiest it’s been in years. Signing CM Punk would be like the non-kayfabe version of “injecting a lethal dose of poison” backstage.
Give him a call in a few years and see if he wants to do the hall of fame. That’s as far as any possible offers they should be giving him.

On his first day back he'd probably get in a fight with AJ Styles.

Only if he has weekly media scrums and has to share a Locker next to AJ Styles or Braun Strowmann

CM Punk coming back is a huge reason I came back to watching wrestling again, I hadn't followed it closely for several years...

There is no way Triple H wants Punk back in the Company after what happened between them a decade ago. And honestly i doubt Punk would last long anywhere, at this point i wouldn't be suprised if he leaves AEW this Year.

If he can't be happy with everything AEW has given him then absolutely not. He walked away from WWE with a lot of grievances about his career and a very serious physical ailment. He's walking away from AEW in a mystique-destroying fit of paranoia and muffin crumbs. I don't see any reason he should even be in the wrestling business anymore.
