I'm guessing they could have Schiavonne up there, since he can be no non-sense when needed (and is respected by the locker room) Possibly have Big Show or Mark Henry act like Kane does for the hall of Fame moments that go too long.

I really have no idea what even the purpose of them is past, "Real sports do them so we have to do them!" even though legit media doesn't care about wrestling beyond puff pieces so they don't actually accomplish anything. About the only things I can ever remember happening at one of these things are this Punk situation and Seth Rollins rambling about how justice is a metaphor.

Scrums are fun enough for what they are, but I imagine that they will probably be more disciplined.

In all seriousness, Khan simply shouldn’t be at the table the whole time, let the wrestlers have their turn while he goes either first or last. That way if anything happens he’s not chained to the media for a full hour or more, not to mention gives him the ability to free up responsibility to some other PR delegate that can vent questions and reporters better.

I think they're cool when everyone's in character. Swerve and Lee's was very entertaining.

I still don't know about the actual word "scrum." Scrum sounds like some sort horrible breakfast alternative to gruel made with leftover bread crumbs that gets all crusty at the bottom of the bowl when you heat it up for too long. Scrum for breakfast today kids. Kids -

Base them on an actual rugby scrum.

It's adding a sense of legitimacy to something everybody knows.. is a work. It's pointless.

Mox turning up at the forbidden door scrum and talking about wrestlers from every Japanese promotion but njpw was pretty funny. I'd like more of that.

Instead of a scrum, they can have a little banquet.
Call it an AEW Scrum-ptious.

Going forward, all media scrums should be Dr. Luther screaming random opinions into a live mic.

I'd say stop doing them altogether. Even with the ones that weren't complete disasters, I don't remember any of them being particularly positive for the company, its talent, or Tony Khan. At best, they're just a thing that happens that no one really remembers afterwards. At worst, they embarrass the company.

It's nice to have new champions and debuting wrestlers meeting the media and having a chance to talk while the events are fresh, but they don't really serve that much of a purpose.
I don't think that they should be scrapped purely because of what happened with Punk though because that was such an outlier.

I can only think of the cringeworthy (Tony's rants) and now outright detrimental (Punk etc.) effects from them. I'd just give up with them.

I think they're cool when everyone's in character. Swerve and Lee's was very entertaining. I'm the opposite. I like that they are out of character and they're questioned about booking decisions etc

I’d say they need someone to make the talent behave and not say stupid shit, but when the owner of the company can’t be trusted either..bin them. This one took away any focus and hype of their biggest story of the year (MJF returning) and also derailed the planned feud for that story and also made them hot potato their main championship AND their brand new ones..and for what?
Not worth it. End it.
