Ronda only has Raquel and Shayna as fresh opponents. Bianca only has Rhea left. And now you're suppose to keep things fresh and entertaining with them until WrestleMania....5-6 months away.... Oh but you can buy time with War Games! ... Because it's good storytelling to just pretend the central prizes in the industry don't exist for a month or two... And we'll just ignore that Bianca just kicked all their asses alone so there's zero reason to buy they'd stand a snowball's chance in hell against her in it... The funniest part is people thinking that Bayley is going to get a rematch at Crown Jewel and win the title there. Those people don't seem to realize that Damage CTRL got their asses handed to them by a single (injured) woman tonight. And while I'm not sure about Iyo (she might not want to go in general), Dakota definitely won't be in Saudi Arabia as she's bisexual. Which means it would be a straight up 1 on 1 match with no interference. And I think at this point you have a better chance of hitting the lottery than Bayley has of winning the title.

Side thought through all of this: What if this was to, like the top men's and men's tag, to prepare a unification match with Bianca and Rousey?

Ronda is still (there haven't been any reports saying otherwise as of right now) gone after Wrestlemania next year. And FOX and NBCU want their own titles. And next year is going to be when WWE starts entering TV rights talks. Good luck selling FOX or NBCU on not having a champion for their show. Or the fact that they would have an absentee one. Look at Roman's run as a good example of this. NBCU isn't exactly thrilled they don't have a top champion at the moment. Both networks also want their own rosters as well.

If any titles are getting unified, it will probably be the WWE Women's and NXT Women's tag titles. NXT doesn't really have much of a division left, with Toxic Attraction due to be called up, which leaves only Kayden/Katana(and who knows how long they'll be in NXT), Ivy/Tatum and Nikkita/Zoey.

While it's a flimsy one since Bayley asked for the Ladder Match, she could still have the dangling carrot that Bianca didn't get back her pin victory that Bayley has over her. It is flimsy but that's possibly the only way to make sense of Bayley getting another chance.

Yeah that was brutal for Damage Ctrl. They got their ass beat 3 on 1. They'll comeback from it because they are talented but that sucked. I don't even mind Bianca overcoming them 3 on 1, but only if the roles were reversed and Bayley was the dominant champ heading in.
Bianca is an interesting position to me. She is one of the best wrestlers the WWE developmental system has ever produced. She is incredible and delivers every PPV. But, she is a like Drew to me where the live crowd loves them, but for whatever reason that doesn't translate to Youtube views, social media numbers, google search trends or merchandise sales. She is the top woman yet her numbers are worse than some of the women beneath here. But she is so good she can't be anywhere else but the top. Like Alexa is more popular than her, but Alexa can't or shouldn't beat her. I just hope Rhea beats her by the end of the year so she can freshen up her character a bit.

Also, like, f*** the Women's Tag titles. They come back after being gone for months... and then are immediately put on a team where they don't trust one of the people involved to actually tag in for five seconds then they immediately lose them to a team that's defining character trait is that they're Bianca's personal punching bags. Just retire these useless belts. In hindsight it probably would have been smarter to introduce a midcard women's title, but Sasha/Bayley wanted something to do at the time so it had to be a tag title.

But the crowd cheered Bianca guys! Everything is fine. Because the crowd cheered. OK, we can’t start going “The live crowd doesn’t count” after we spend literally YEARS going “Listen to live crowds”. Just admit you (not specifically YOU) want your favourites to win, instead of this facade of altruism where we’re like “I want this for everyone”. It’ll save a lot of headaches. I haven't posted on this forum in like a year but from my experience, it does boil down to the ideology I want the people I like to win. Whether TV ratings/live reactions/merch/Youtube Numbers/Meltzer star ratings etc matter to an argument depends only if it supports my favorites winning. And that goes back to when I started on this forum, so it's not a recent thing. Though that is perfectly fine and ok as wrestling fandom by nature is subjective. It's just I prefer people to say I want X to win over Y because I like them more, rather than some weird disjointed argument. If people want Bianca/Roman to lose the belt because they don't find their reigns enjoyable that is completely understandable. What I don't get is trying to spread your views onto the majority and claim that the live fans are starting to turn on them when I don't see consistent evidence of that. That to me is a bit weird, but that is my 2 cents. I am not trying to flame anyone on the board but rather some observation. Regarding damage ctrl, I still vividly remember people saying Seth Rollins was done as a main eventer cause he lost to Roman on a random raw. So to run an obituary on their singles career when I am sure almost every top star in the WWE has been given one by someone on this forum seems premature.

Seth at least had the benefit of being firmly established as a major player and could thus shake off any damage caused by bad booking that comes his way. With Damage Ctrl, IYO and Dakota are still new. They are the ones that need the protective booking at this early stage.

Something worth noting is that while Bianca is over with LIVE audiences, her segments do very poorly ratings/views wise. Not saying Damage CTRL's stuff is great either, but I know Bianca's last few matches on RAW have had pretty significant viewership drops. And while we don't have hard numbers anymore, I know on the old WWE shop, her stuff didn't sell well compared to Alexa, Asuka, and Becky, who were the top merch movers for the women. And yeah like gl mentioned, Dakota and Iyo are both new to casual fans. They should be getting very protected booking right now. But as the past few months have shown us, its very clear Triple H doesn't view either Dakota or Iyo as potential top stars. He is putting it all on Raquel, Rhea, and Bianca. And while Rhea and Bianca are one thing, Raquel is never going to get over. She is a blackhole of charisma and average at best in the ring. I hate Mandy's NXT Women's title reign but its still been better than Raquel's was.

I noticed that during this feud, where her stuff with CTRL was doing some of the lowest YT numbers each week. Bianca's got obvious (literal) strengths, and WWE plays well to them (hence why they always give her the showcase spots) but giving her something more to her character would do a lot for her long-term sustainability, especially as someone who's had the strongest booking in the whole company man-or-woman for nearly two years now (Roman at least cheats).

This booking was bad, if bianca gets double teamed by the two non-bayley ones, and she beats them up by herself and wins the match clean, what does she need alexa/asuka for as her partners? And the heels can't win 3 against 1, how are you going to have any future matches? I love hulk hogan, but this is like main event 89, when macho left to go back with liz, and hulk beat up bossman/akeem and won the match by himself. I have my problems with believing liv vs rhonda, but at least they had a competitive match where you could use liv in the future as an opponent for someone, raising her up by being competitive with the tougher rhonda, where as, in this, bayley and the other two are getting beat up 3 against 1 by the champion, why does the one need any partners after that, and how are the heels a threat after that?

It's not even the first 3-on-1 Bianca's won this year. You may recall her beating up Sonya/Zelina/Mella on Raw a few months back. Not that they're necessarily going to be huge threats anyway, but they're certainly not afraid of giving Bianca the strongEST booking possible.

They eventually got the WWE license and produced WWE gaming chairs. WWE would send a list to their partners on which superstars they recommended to produce for merch for and the women on the list were Alexa, Bayley & Sasha but the top woman at the time was Charlotte. I wonder how much that even factors in who they decide to push.

More recently, this happened where Cena easily handled Awesome Truth by himself but somehow needed The Rock to beat them anyways at Survivor Series. The problem basically boils down to WWE/Triple H shooting themselves in the foot here. Because now if Damage CTRL and Bianca are supposed to be a part of War Games, they have about a month to give Bianca an exploitable flaw. Because otherwise why the hell does Bianca need a team? Because she took out 75% of a War Games team on her own last night while barely breaking a sweat taking out Iyo and Dakota. They have set it up where Bianca has no real actual threats still after last night's match and how she was portrayed. Even Rhea won't be a threat to her at this point. As for Damage CTRL, I have a feeling they are about to lose the tag titles to Shotzi and Raquel soon enough. And at this point it may as well be for the best. Just take Iyo and Dakota off of TV and completely reset them. Or if they want out of their deals, release them. Because its really clear neither of them are going to be ever seen as big stars by the company. Hell Iyo herself said she wasn't sure if she truly wanted to stick around because it felt like the company wasn't respecting her abilities ever since the changeover to NXT 2.0. And that she wanted to be called up and treated like a big deal on the main roster. Right now it feels like she isn't a big deal and its safe to say she has been treated with little to no respect by the company. WWE just better pray to god that Bianca doesn't go down with an injury because they have made every other woman in the company outside of Ronda look completely inferior to her, so fans don't bother to get invested in them.

I didn't have problem with the outcome as Bayley hasn't been super impressive since returning as she still looks to be shaking off rust and I think Bianca is just simply better right now. However having her fight off all Damage CTRL by herself was definitely too much. Like they couldn't at least have some other faces help her out and take out Dakota and Iyo? Also made Damage CTRL eliminating Alexa and Asuka from the equation on Monday completely pointless.
