I agreed with people that they were fine until this match. That was every bit as bad as the Cena burial vs Nexus only this group is no where near the threat they ever were. Right now they are just Bayley and her two friends not a group anyone needs to fear.

Ironically this makes a potential War Games Match feel superfluous. Bianca doesn’t need a team to take this group out. She can do it all on her own.

They could do Bianca-Rousey interbrand, and do a separate War Games of Damage CTRL with new member Piper Niven against Alexa, Asuka, Sasha and Naomi. I have a feeling that if Sasha and Naomi were returning, we would have heard something by now. But do remember that one of the big reasons they walked out is because they felt like they (and the tag titles) were being disrespected by being fed to the singles champion. Last night was pretty solid evidence on why they probably won't be returning any time soon. Because if their sticking point was being disrespected by creative and being fed to the singles champion(s), then last night likely didn't help matters in that regard. Hell, the past few weeks has sent out red flags that while the regime has changed, the treatment of the tag championships and their holders hasn't. War Games is probably going to be Bianca, Alexa, Asuka, and Candice vs Damage CTRL and a fourth woman, yet to be named or revealed. I don't think it's going to be a fourth member of the group either, especially going by the lyrics of their song where they talk about how the THREE of them are in control. Heavy emphasis on three. The fourth woman will probably be someone like Rhea or someone like Cora returning the favor (as she is not so subtly hinting at wanting Damage CTRL to show up on NXT and take out Roxanne as her pick her poison match).

This is another issue , because like you said whats the point of womens wargames now when Bianca has single handedly torched the only faction in the womens division twice now all on her own that match is entirely pointless now. But I am the broken record here with what I am about to say and that is Bianca is the worst type of babyface and it is one with no flaw..IMO this should have been the feud and the moment where she got knocked on her ass and lost because Bayley and crew just had the advantage over her...they took out her crew of friends and it left her alone for the picking. But nope pre-crisis Super Bianca at it again.

the problem damage ctrl is having is still a roster issue. the low card women are so far down the card that beating them means nothing compared to the top people- who they lose to regularly. so there's no serious heel threats left on RAW for bianca to go through and heel groups in general always have whoever isn;t the leader fed to the face until they finally get to the leader so Iyo and Dakota get taken out to get to bayley despite being the tag champs. and no credible faces for damage ctrl to build themselves up with.
then they need challengers for the tag titles they actually have but regularly get overwhelmed by raquel to establish her and shotzi. the only people left for Kai&Sky to beat are the low card people which they are expected to beat which doesn;t do them any favors. Now that bianca has beaten all three on her own you're left with tag champs that appear unable to beat anyone who matters and bayley who couldn;t get the job done with a 3 on 1 edge which leaves her... going after rousey? i'm sure that will end well for the group.
also is there some rule that prevents them from giving asuka and Iyo a 1 on 1 match?
as for bianca- you're down to rhea who will be tied up with beth for the immediate future no doubt, and the spectre of charlotte looming overhead. and if charlotte ends up being the one to beat her then we're back to the "oh great charlotte's champ again" routine.

I haven't posted on this forum in like a year but from my experience, it does boil down to the ideology I want the people I like to win. Whether TV ratings/live reactions/merch/Youtube Numbers/Meltzer star ratings etc matter to an argument depends only if it supports my favorites winning. And that goes back to when I started on this forum, so it's not a recent thing. Though that is perfectly fine and ok as wrestling fandom by nature is subjective. It's just I prefer people to say I want X to win over Y because I like them more, rather than some weird disjointed argument. If people want Bianca/Roman to lose the belt because they don't find their reigns enjoyable that is completely understandable. What I don't get is trying to spread your views onto the majority and claim that the live fans are starting to turn on them when I don't see consistent evidence of that. That to me is a bit weird, but that is my 2 cents. I am not trying to flame anyone on the board but rather some observation. Regarding damage ctrl, I still vividly remember people saying Seth Rollins was done as a main eventer cause he lost to Roman on a random raw. So to run an obituary on their singles career when I am sure almost every top star in the WWE has been given one by someone on this forum seems premature. Seth at least had the benefit of being firmly established as a major player and could thus shake off any damage caused by bad booking that comes his way. With Damage Ctrl, IYO and Dakota are still new. They are the ones that need the protective booking at this early stage. I don't know, I think people give way too much credit to the average WWE fan's long-term memory regarding match results. If Dakota and Iyo are as talented as people say, then when they are booked better, fans will react positively. I have strong doubts that in 9 months, if Iyo is facing Asuka in a number 1 contender's match or something, the fans in the audience will go "well I saw what happened in extreme rules, I am going to sit on my hands this match". Now I don't know whether they will be booked better, but if they are main event-level talents, they will get fans to react when given the spotlight regardless of this past booking. I mean Butch lost to Drew McIntyre in under 2 minutes 3 months ago, and yet no one brings that up anymore. And if damage ctrl are just mid-level talents, then who cares if Bianca beats them? There are plenty of potential mid-card talent women on the roster anyways so being canon fodder for the champ isn't the worst.

I think the problem is they should not be in a position where they have to be. With some different booking decisions you could have them seen as a threat right now.

When the three of them were first beating down Bianca I thought for sure Becky's music was going to hit and she'd come to the rescue. Having Bianca fight back beating them all up by herself was certainly a choice.
I'm not even mad about Bayley not winning because I think she's boring as hell right now but I also feel like Bianca should drop the title soon. I really hope Rhea is the one to beat her.

The problem is that there is no chance Bianca drops the title outside of a major PLE now. And the next one that she will probably defend her title at is the Rumble. And the major titles RARELY change hands there. So that leaves Wrestlemania. Which means 5-6 more months of Bianca spinning her wheels. And Bianca has cleared out the entire RAW roster outside of Rhea.

I've been thinking about this for a few weeks, and was actually hoping it started last night with a Sasha and Naomi running in to help Bianca.
Then they start a program as faces for the Tag titles.
At the blow off they do a Demolition/Powers of Pain double turn

Wont surprise me if they blow this up come monday and pull a Judgment Day and boot Bayley out of her own group because it really does feel like this was never suppose to be a thing that HHH wanted long term and has a different direction for all of them...what that direction is idk.

I don't think that's going to happen, but the direction (and sentiments) of the group is so overwhelmingly negative (among fans and their momentum) at this point it could only be a positive if the group imploded at this point. Unfortunately I don't think its in the cards as WWE is set to release their theme very soon as its up on various sites now. Remember Bayley pitched this faction to Triple H. But then he booked it into the ground like this. I'd be curious to see what Bayley TRULY thinks about the creative direction right now, because I imagine it's probably not too great. Their booking has been fumbled every step of the way basically, and it's the key reason why they are floundering. And that's entirely on Triple H. These dorks got destroyed 3-on-1 by Super Bianca. Lol Yup and apparently Bianca did a backstage promo afterwards that was uploaded to WWE social media (I can't find it) talking about how she wants the tag titles with her "special friend" now.

This promo? She talks about how 'her girls' Alexa/Asuka are coming for them:

A month ago, Bayley in-character, told Sasha not to come back. Right now that comment is looking like a shoot, because this faction was Bayley's "brainchild" to elevate IYO and Dakota and the booking and Creative have done everything to f*** them over. They feel worse off now than they did 2 months ago.

Yeah I just saw a quote saying that Bianca wasn't done and was going after the tag titles. Like...okay. Cool they don't seem to be done burying Damage CTRL yet, because I have a feeling Bianca is going to help Alexa/Asuka or Raquel/Shotzi win the tag titles to further bury the group.

That would be such a stupid decision because they don't even have any built up Heel teams. All of those teams have basically been broken up(Nikki breaking off from Doudrop; Shotzi turning Face and splitting from Xia Li) It's just a random mishmash of people.
