Poor Bayley couldn't even get in a beatdown without Bianca showing up to ruin things.

So again, why should we take them seriously as threats?
Freaking Ronda sells being in danger more than Bianca does.

Bayley really needs a new finisher. It's always sucked but it's even worse now as she's clearly being cautious and trying to protect her knee resulting in it coming off even more awkward and having even less impact.

Given how much their careers need to be restarted, more like Damage Ctrl Alt Del, amirite?

Given how much their careers need to be restarted, more like Damage Ctrl Alt Del, amirite? I mean feuding with Bianca right now is basically killing off Iyo and Dakota as credible women in general. Like...the match on Monday pretty much showed that WWE really doesn't care about Iyo at least (or at least building her up as a main figure of the division), considering they agented the match so Bianca would control 90%+ of it, with Iyo getting very little to no real offense in. Whatever offense Iyo did get in on Monday, Bianca no sold like two minutes later. That's probably a big reason why more casual fans are cold on the group right now. Because they aren't booked like threats even in their matches. I mean for gods sake, they shouldn't have even had to struggle to put away Dana Brooke and Tamina, but they were booked like they couldn't even beat Dana and Tamina.

In all serious the problem is that other than the talent of the people involved, there's nothing strong about the group. There's no central gimmick other than generic mean heels, there's not much the three of them have in common (especially Bayley with the other two), and the booking never lets them really do anything notable (quite the opposite problem of the Boss & Hug connection circa 2020). I can't believe I'm invoking late aughts Impact booking as a positive example, but the Beautiful People possessed a central concept, had a balance in how they were presented, and the people involved made sense as a team. Damage CTRL are just there as a trio.

They feel like the some women have been getting handouts and preferential treatment, and they are here to disrupt the status quo, and feel like they've been overlooked. Thing is, that is actually pretty correct even from a non-kayfabe perspective, because before Vince retired, Dakota was no longer in the company, and Iyo was pretty much gone, because he thought they had nothing going for them. He felt Dakota was "too old" and that "Why do we need Iyo when we have Asuka".

Said this already , but Bianca is the worst type of babyface or just character in general and that is one with no flaw.
And like people are discussing in the Seth thread as it pretains to Bray , no one comes out better having faced Bianca hell Monday took it a step further and you aint even gotta do anything to be damaged by her because Alexa and Asuka looked like literal stand bys out there as Bianca single handedly dealt with DC.
You would think this would be about getting DC over as the big new threat on the womens division but instead is about pushing Biancas pre-crsis Superman power even further.

I do think that if Bianca does retain at Extreme Rules, then Damage CTRL as a group is pretty much done ever being a threat, and it would be best to dissolve it, and figure out what you want to do with the women, because right now they are on the verge of their careers being irreparably harmed because WWE absolutely refuses to let them get over at all. It would also further validate the point that Bianca is way too overpushed at the expense of other women. She's basically the women's version of Roman Reigns except actually worse because at least he has to cheat in his matches, and is pushed to the limit fairly regularly.

I don't even think Becky at her peak was this bad. Because while we all knew she was going to win in the end, she still suffered a ton of adversity and took a bunch of beatings to make her opponents seem like a threat to her. No such thing from Bianca. Here's the problem with their women's division right now. On both brands, you have a lack of Faces(whom you can feed to Damage Ctrl to heat them back up), and very few credible Heels(only Rhea on Raw and Charlotte and Ronda? on Smackdown).

Given how much their careers need to be restarted, more like Damage Ctrl Alt Del, amirite? There's a Loss meme to be made with Bayley arriving at the ring, talking to the commentators, confronting Bianca, and getting close to Kai/Sky on the mat beaten down... but I'm too classy/lazy to make it.

On both brands, you have a lack of Faces(whom you can feed to Damage Ctrl to heat them back up), and very few credible Heels(only Rhea on Raw and Charlotte and Ronda? on Smackdown). Yeah, that’s my big quandary. There’s only like four people on the entire main roster that are “allowed” to be beaten right now, because nobody cares about them. Carmella, Dana Brooke, Natalya and Tamina. But if nobody cares about them, then it doesn’t mean anything when anyone beats them, right? Throw in the fact of “You have to protect your champions and your top contenders” (literally, this whole thread is based on not protecting the tag champions, so that is CLEARLY a directive here), then you have to protect newer talents (so you can’t have, like, LeRae losing already), then you add in the stan factor where those people don’t want their favourites losing AT ALL (and goodness knows you’ll hear about it when they do)… And I’m like, F***S SAKE GUYS, there is literally no solution to this, at lest not until the women have TV time and roster depth on par with the men. You can’t job out Belair or constantly beat her down, regardless of whether you think she’s “won enough” or whatever, because she’s a top champion. Morgan, the other top champion, takes her lumps, and some are saying she’s booked too weak. It’s like we want the illusion of vulnerability without anyone ever actually BEING shown to be vulnerable. Seriously, we can’t claim to want nothing but clean finishes, and then lose our shit and cry “burial” when it happens to specific people.

Plus while this is perhaps easier to appreciate in hindsight, even with something as predictable as the Lacey feud, Becky would still up her intensity in promos and explain her motivations. The thing is that Bianca being flawless makes her look strong but also makes her boring.

I like Shotzi, but her losing to Bayley on SD was the right call imo.
But then AGAIN she got ran off by Bianca.

In case you woke up this morning and were like "Goddamn I need to feel like a loser today", WWE Shop has you covered with the new Damage CTRL shirt!
Now you can also be dunked on by your coworkers who are vastly superior and better than you (according to management) in every way!
