My primary takeaway was mostly just that that beatdown dragged out waaaay too long. It was cool seeing them look dominant but it kind of just went on and on and on. Felt like someone timed the show out wrong so they just had to desperately stall.

Well, they got to stand tall tonight… but they better hope Reverse Momentum Theory doesn’t f*** them over. I mean by that logic, Bianca is losing. Since she pretty much always overcomes reverse momentum whenever she stood tall on the go home show. So maybe it'll backfire on her. But more likely is that Becky returns and costs Bayley the match, and they punt putting the title on Bayley down the line until after War Games or something.

Between the katakana and the manga-ish filter on the trio, that's a neat shirt.

Damage CTRL finally looking threatening. About time.
I think Bianca is retaining, but I think it would be more interesting if she lost.
I could see Becky returning at the PPV and and/or Candice helping Bianca out if Alexa and Asuka are taken out.

They smashed her between the ladder but that's usually not something you think would take someone out.

Yeah, I think Candice is gonna help out, along with Becky returning to help Bianca retain. Although I do agree it would be a lot more interesting with Bayley as champion right now. She cut a decent promo tonight (while Bianca came off as a massive dickhead), and in reality, does Bianca really have anyone left to feud with after Bayley? I guess Rhea if they ever decide to let her wrestle again. Or god forbid Charlotte if she returns. But that's literally it. Damage CTRL finally looking threatening. About time. I mean if they are writing Asuka out of this storyline, that would be a really bizarre choice since this is likely leading to the Women's War Games match, and Alexa is not someone who should be in that match, where Asuka would fit in a lot better.

Unless she's legit hurt that wouldn't make sense. Like you said she would be great in Wargames. Alexa wouldn't really contribute much as she's not a heavy hitter and she doesn't bump well either. Bianca, Candice, Asuka, and Becky (or Raquel if Becky isn't cleared by then) would be the way to go for the face team. Bianca can do her cool power and athleticism spots, Asuka would provide a lot with her striking and energy, Candice is a good bumper, and Becky can be the big star who comes in last to save the day which would also protect her a bit since she would coming back from an injury. If Becky can't go then Raquel would be a decent alternative to be a hoss who can do power moves and be a base.

Rhea Ripley is the only person left. Problem is, if they're planning on Bianca retaining and holding the title to WrestleMania to face Charlotte....well how do you get there. Bianca's title reign is already getting stale. And you have Crown Jewel, Survivor Series, Day 1, Royal Rumble, and Crown Jewel again and then WrestleMania. All this and you only have 1 credible Heel left. Plus, I'm not too keen on Bianca holding the title for almost a full calendar year. It'd be better for Bianca to drop it to Bayley just to freshen up the title picture a bit.

That's the risk, though at this point I'm assuming that Bianca retains. The other thing is while I'm confident the match itself would be good based on their Raw ones last year, I don't think there's enough story in Bianca/Charlotte to make it compelling as a feud. 'I've beaten everyone else clean so I have to beat you too' is pretty boring.
On the bright side, I felt Dakota and Iyo in their singles matches both had their best showings since coming back.

I think Bianca/Charlotte could work as a Wrestlemania feud. Bianca has beaten two Horsewomen in a row in previous years and Charlotte tries to stop her making it three. I wouldn't rush into the feud right now though if Charlotte returned. For one thing isn't Charlotte supposed to be on Smackdown? And they could definitely use her more than Raw right now.

First 1 on 1 between Alexa and IYO and loe and behold Alexa and comes out looking the best she has looked in a good while.
They have good chemistry would not mind a longer term feud between them in the future.
And IYO put a nice bit of mustard on that air raid crash.

I still think Bayley's winning but the whole heel group with all the belts thing is so played out. You'd have The Bloodline on Smackdown, Damage Control on Raw and you just had Toxic Attraction in NXT doing it too.
I never thought of it until now but maybe you eventually do a Toxic Attraction feud with Damage Control once they get called up. DC would probably have to turn face for it which could be done easily enough.

They did. And the match structure let Iyo get some decent offense in too.

It's like...the problem with Iyo had nothing to do with her wrestling over the past few months, it was how it was laid out! Iyo taking at least 50% of the offense makes her look good. Opposed to only getting like 5% and all of her stuff being no sold like last week. I'm curious to see who laid out last night's match, because I know the last couple Iyo matches were laid out by Petey Williams, and I don't think its a coincidence that all of her worst stuff has been agented by him.

I am still interested in finding out why alot of her signature stuff is still not present yet ..whether it is a personal choice or mandate by someone.
No double handspring dropkick , no suicide dive being the big notable moves of her arsenal she has not done yet other than the obvious tiger feint kick which is clear why she isn't doing that right now.
My only assumption atleast as far as the handspring dropkick is maybe she does not feel comfortable handplanting her healed foot yet.

If I had to take a wild guess, I would assume its because she's a heel, and also because they don't want her doing the same athletic stuff that Bianca does. They are putting all of their eggs into the Bianca basket right now, and don't want to run the risk of anyone potentially upsetting that.

That was much better last night. Still hoping for a Bayley win, even if I agree with whoever said that it's getting tiring having heel stables holding all the belts.

I understand people being tired of heel stables holding all of the gold, but like...where does Bianca go from here if she wins? Because the next major PPV is Survivor Series, and I seriously doubt she's defending the title there. Which leaves the Royal Rumble as the next big chance for her to drop the title. Which is still three months away. She's pretty much out of people to face as well. Where the babyface side has Asuka, Alexa, Becky, and potentially a rematch with Bianca as well, if she loses to Bayley. Where on the heel side, Bianca only really has Dakota Kai and Rhea Ripley left if she beats Bayley. And no one is going to take Dakota seriously as a threat, and Rhea is too busy with The Judgement Day right now.

RIP Damage CTRL, their credibility is completely shot.
