He's on his show laughing at Tony Khan. Refers to AEW's fanbase that came at him as "freakazoids" again. Feels bad for Tony Schiavone being thrown under the bus in TK's attempt to insult him. Says he's not a wrestling journalist, he's an MMA journalist that loves wrestling and likes to talk to wrestlers. Doesn't cover WWE/AEW the way he does MMA. Praises Cole for his jab on air. Edit: Lots of wrestlers were laughing at TK backstage for the initial tweet. High fiving him for his response. Says his tweet "popped the boys" This is live now? Way to double down on the petty Ariel...Damn those slaps on the back are gonna come with a long term price my dude

Jokingly says he'll even appear on AEW TV for the right price, and is willing to wear a "Fraud" t-shirt to move some merch and with that he just ensured that he'd never get another interview from an AEW employee

If someone asked me for comment about the guy who threw up at the mall and I was wearing a t-shirt that said "Five times mall vomit champion", I would simply not say something meant to implicate myself. Maybe be like "Hey dude look I know what it's like to throw up at the mall a bunch but you really have to think about what you're doing and how it looks. It's only going to do damage to your reputation and everyone who sees you pluck a bit of half-digested onion out of your beard after you left a biohazard in front of the bookstore is going to judge you forever and it's not worth it." If I said anything else, yeah, I would expect someone to go "Hey wait a sec weren't you the one who was mega hung over in the Joanne Fabrics that one time, wrapped yourself in a bunch of loose flannel 'for warmth' and then started gushing like some kind of lumberjack gargoyle fountain art installation?" If your career and financials now are based upon being a former champion and you are not talking about others that are throwing up then your not doing your job right

If that's him doing his job right then he can say it, but people are justified in questioning the person who once cleared two food court tables after chasing down a muffin with four milky boba teas in a row.

Talks shit about the Jaguars and Fulham FC.

Reveals that he was actually who cut the brakes on MJF's car at prom night I looked up how old he was to see if it could work...Was not expecting to see that Ariel is 40. Not that being older has any barring on what you say (EB being a topic of discussion solidifies that) but still wild to think he has been around the combat sports world for 20 years or so

I feel sorry for Tony Schiavone for being thrown under the bus in all this. Tony comes across a good guy and didn’t need to be dragged into this mess.

Right, and I'm saying that it isn't whataboutism because he is someone speaking on the matter and people can reasonably say "Nah dude not you, you're being a hypocrite on this one" to him when he is opening himself up on the topic to it. Whataboutism would be saying "Vince does X" because Vince has not spoken on the matter to run Tony down for it.

Where's that gif of Raven calling people marks when you need it? He said it himself, he's not a journalist. If I were Khan, I simply wouldn't interact with Ariel again. Although I wouldn't stop wrestlers from doing his show if they wanted to, I'd make sure they're aware they're not talking to a journalist first.

Like…as Mozenrath said, how did Ariel take such an easy win from having a dumb tweet said to him and turn it into this dumb, big thing?
Big Swole at least got some bookings from TK’s tweet to her.

Ariel is the only one dragging Schiavone into this. He keeps bringing him up. TK joked about him in a manner Excallibur or Taz would. This wasn't a Vince mocking JR'S bells-palsy thing.

Also, if he’s not a wrestling journalist, why is he upset that TK didn’t answer his questions back then?

Also, if he’s not a wrestling journalist, why is he upset that TK didn’t answer his questions back then? Because it was a waste of his time to have Khan show up and refuse to answer any questions, especially since Khan didn’t make it known there were topics he refused to talk about before the interview started. But people will just ignore that fact and continue to pretend that the only questions Khan refused to answer were about the backstage brawl because they feel the need to defend a thin-skinned billionaire.

Whoever's bringing him into this, it is no way to treat a Pulitzer winner like Schaivone, who was almost the one to break the Edward Snowden story but ended up having to help rescue animals from a burning building instead. Just total clownery.
