Im going to Elimination Chamber in Feb and Wrestlemania in April, but the Royal Rumble is THE event for me.
Have any of you ever gone to a rest king event alone? Would you suggest it? Would you advise against it? Any tips to make it better, things to avoid?
Hit me up.

I can only speak on my behalf, but I went to the Raw where Big E won the WWE title by myself and I had a blast. I'll probably do the same when I go to Survivor Series this year. To me, it's no different than going to a movie theater alone.
If you feel having some company will make the live experience more enjoyable, then by all means try to bring a friend!

Do it.
I go to wrestling shows (and other events) by myself all the time; it’s no big deal. Hell, I’ve been to four WrestleManias on my own. And since it’s relevant to the thread title, I attended Royal Rumble 2014 by myself.
Personally I prefer it this way because I can put my entire focus on the event itself.

I mean, just hire a prostitute.
Or do whatever you want that harms no one like a normal person...

There's going to be 29 other people in the Rumble, you'll be fine.

I've gone to houseshows alone. I'd say if you won't get overwhelmed being alone in a crowd that size, go for it. Rumble is one of my favorite PPVs and I'd go it alone too.

Never been to wresting event on my own but ive been to loads of gigs on my own. It doesn't really matter once the music or action begins

I've been to wrestling alone. It's fun. Either you go alone or you don't go at all, and why miss out?

I went to Orlando with a friend for Mania 33. We got one of those weekend packages but he had no interest in seeing Takeover the night before. He sold the ticket and I was sat next to a stranger for the show. It made no difference to my enjoyment of it.
The way I look at things, if there's something I want to see but none of my friends are interested in going, why should I miss out on doing the fun thing that I want to do? If I only went to things based on whether I could get someone to go along, I'd have missed out on so many fun things like shows, conventions and loads of great weird movies.
Go for it!

I usually have a friend that I go to wrestling shows with but I've definitely gone to concerts by myself. Sometimes it can be good because you can do whatever you want to do and don't have to be on somebody else's clock.

I'm someone who likes his own company personally so attending something on my own doesn't bother me.. I did the 2008 Royal Rumble on my own at Madison Square Garden and was still a great show.
I say go for it.

I've done this before, well, sort of. After a friend of mine bailed out on me a while back, I ended up going to an indie show alone but there were people had hung out with because a friend of mine brought his friends and we hung out. But if I could go to a movie alone, and I do this a lot, then I could go to a wrestling show alone.

You should go with 29 other people and throughout the night, just get rid of them one by one.

I've been to a couple of events before by myself. For me it entirely depends on the crowd your with. If its a dead crowd it makes the show way worse, if the crowd is hot its amazing. Luckily its the Rumble so you'll have a hot crowd.

No way I can get anyone to go with me (I live in another country - on the other coast!) But the RR is THEE event for me, I really wanna go! Am I reading that correctly? You're flying from another country for two upcoming events and aren't sure if you should add the rumble? What a good dilemma to have! If you say can't get anyone to join you for RR I assume you're meeting people for the other two? If so maybe skip the rumble this year and wait to see how the other two shows go and then you'll have more of an idea if you'd enjoy it alone in 2024? I'm happy to travel and go to local wrestling shows solo, I think amongst that many people in a hot crowd it will fine. It's not like a sparsely populated Raw in Corpus Christi.

There's going to be 29 other people in the Rumble, you'll be fine. That’s exactly why you should go with someone…. Just gotta toss em out when they aren’t looking though
