AEW just got draped in Global Force Gold as Jeff Jarrett has arrived. With the theme and everything.

Jeff Jarrett wasn't worth a shit in 2002, much less 2022.
Also invasion angles desperately need to die.

I was pretty "eh" about it and then I heard "My World." And now I'm strangely fine with it.

I am all about it. Jeff Jarrett is, like, the one wrestler who I’ve actually increasingly enjoyed as he’s gotten older.
And AEW has been really good in how it’s used veterans, so I think it will work. Double J is an objectively good promo.

To be a broken record, the Cole Karter swerve ruined what was actually a surprising debut.
I'm not against it as I've honestly never minded Jarrett when he isn't the focus of the main event, and he did actually get a lot of hype from his GCW run earlier in the year... but again, a little late to capitalize on that.

Jeff Jarrett must have seen that thread about wrestlers who wrestled on Raw, Nitro, Impact, and Dynamite and decided he wanted to be on that list.

I'm also amused that Double J's appeared in like four different promotions this year. Hope they let him make an appearance in Impact and have him show up in ROH Final Battle just to complete the set.

I've really grown to like Jeff after listening to his podcast. It took a lot for him to open up about the trauma he's faced in his life and I'm glad he's healthy and still working in the business.

Probably not; the goal seemed to be to have it serve as a fake out ahead of Jarrett appearing. Still, I personally wouldn't have done it that way.

I think if it was anyone but Cole Karter doing the fakeout (like someone the fans actually cared about beyond ironic memery), it would've worked out better.

Cole went from the factory to Planet Lethal so I guess it's an upgrade
