Bullshit, get rid of instant replay if this crap is going to happen. That call that went against the Yankees in the 9th inning today, you can't over turn that. That is too close, original call has to stand, freaking MLB trying to screw the Yankees again.
That top of the 10th, again are going to lose an extra inning game, this is all on Boone, he doesn't know what he is doing. Hopefully he is going to be gone.

I hope the Yankees sell, what I mean is sell the team, get an owner that cares about winning. For all the crap this city goes through, our most famous franchise should not be owned by Hal Steinbrenner, he is an awful owner who allows a buffon like Cashman to have a job for life. Give me James Dolan, he be an improvement. Manford was any bit of a real commissioner, he tell Hal fire Cashman or sell the team, like the NFL did to the Giants back in 79.

How much do the Yankees have to lose so Hal has no excuses to keep Cashman and Boone around? Is missing the playoffs not enough, do they have to have a losing record as well? I am willing to suffer in the short run, so this cancer that is Brian Cashman will be forced out.
If the Yankees finish with 75 wins, will Cashman still have a job? How can Hal justify it to the fans, to the press, outside of "screw you guys, I own the team I do what I want" like some heel wrestling authority figure.
It sucks that there is double standards here, look at the Mets, it is a fore gone conclusion that their manager and general manager are gone at the end of the year, why can't the Yankees hold their guys to the same standards as the Mets. I envy the Met fans, they have something to look forward to.

Stop it already. Perennial playoff team haven't had a losing record in 30 years, and probably won't have one this year. And guess what, they are still f***ing only 1.5 games out of the playoffs with 2.5 months to go. One time it isn't a cakewalk let's fire the guy who helped bring you the dynasty that gave you this delusional entitlement?

Giants fans getting all hot and bothered about a potential Ohtani trade, when in reality all that would be is a terrible tease as we empty out our entire farm for a rental before he goes to LA.
No thank you. Match the Dodgers blank check this offseason and hope for the best, but we know how this goes. The star picks LA. Or any place other than San Francisco.

So, why are the Yankees broken? Judge is out, so the biggest offensive weapon isn't there. Rizzo hasn't homered since before his neck injury, he's obviously not 100%. And the defense is terrible. They have the 8th best ERA in the Majors, but are 20th in runs given up, there's a lot of unearned runs crossing the plate. The offense is 17th in runs scored. It's been pitching carrying them, but they can't do that all season, they're getting tired and the Yankees don't have the offense to make up for some off days by the pitching. |

Knowing Arte Moreno, he's going to keep Ohtani until the end of the season to fill his stadium, and then let him walk for nothing, but hopefully he reads the room and makes a deal. Not only would it be good for baseball for Ohtani to get the hell off the Angels, but the Angels also can't afford to lose him for nothing unless they plan to tank during whatever is left of Trout's prime. Just an awfully run franchise from top to bottom. |
