Hey Cubs....can you at least, DO SOMETHING!!! You know things are bad bad when I get a offer to buy season tickets because I got tickets to see Dead & Company at Wrigley next year, the waiting list for season tickets used to be 10 years, now they are trying to give them away! I did read that a bunch of fans who have had season tickets for close to 20 years and not renewing because of how this team is being ran like a small market club in their second tear down in less than 10 years. I feel a big problem outside of them going cheap, is that they do not honor the past like other teams do, ALOT of these players grew up watching Cubs games and seeing Sammy Sosa, dude was like Hulk Hogan for Chicago Cubs baseball, Tom Ricketts treating Sammy like histories greatest monster and refusing to let him appear at Wrigley and telling Ernie Banks family that they wouldnt have Cubs involved if they invited Sammy to the funeral is seriously f***ed up and these young players see this and decide "this team does not care about his former stars" they see how they traded away Bryant, Rizzo, Baez in one swoop, didnt offer Schwarber anything, and refused to sign Lester to the league minimum so he could retire as a Cub like he wanted. Alot of these players when they play a game at Wrigley for the first time always go to right field and stand there and tell the press that they are excited because Sammy played here and they got to stand in his spot on the field. Tom needs to end this stupid bitterness twords Sosa, and let him back home where he belongs, no other franchise does this sort of crap. The Cubs didnt even allow Derrek Lee back to Wrigley until LAST YEAR!!!

Some Yankees news:
Yankees are expected to make an offer to Rodon tomorrow
They are also involved with trades for an OF LH
They still consider Andrew a priority to sign but also checking elsewhere. Brantley wants to sign with Yankees but with defense being priority first he may be assed out unless otherwise
As said before they are showing interest in Correa and basically throwing big hints out there they want to try to sign him

He is actually the type of hitter they need if he stays healthy.

Yeah, if he wants to come and you can get him on relatively cheap 1-2 year deal i'll take him Would like to have Benintendi back but Brant is a perfect lead off guy and it is not like Giancarlo is a slouch in the OF. Between Bader and Judge in CF and RF, I am sure Brant can still provide a serviceable LF Tho I assume they doing all their due diligence and gathering their options for the LH Bat. They might be looking at Kepler as well in a trade tho i'd rather just sign Brant

Ross Stripling to the Giants on same deal as Manea 2/$25 with an opt out
Giants are also interested in Dansby Swanson and still still see Rodon as a possibility
Rodon preferred destination is the Yankees while St Louis and Minnesota are contenders for him
Guardians sign Mike Zunino
Mets looking to trade Carlos Carrasco

Oof, that is a whole lot of money for that guy in that park. Don't they also still have Luciano? I know he took a step back last season versus where his ceiling was supposed to be, but damn. You've basically blocked SS for the next 8 years.

Well shit, Toronto is still pushing Bo out at SS. Who's to say anyone can't stick there these days? Lol. I think he'll be good. The risk/reward is definitely on the side of hoping he pans out instead of giving Bryce Harper money to not Bryce Harper.

I’m so salty the Giants couldn’t decide to spend more money on Harper two off seasons ago. That’s the kind of generational talent you spend ALL THE MONEY on. Don’t get me wrong, Correa is good. But he isn’t generational.
