Just you watch, there's going to be a deal that makes Judge's AAV and total look like a steal within the next five years.

Ohtani next year I think will sign close to the richest deal in sports history, surpassing Mahomes At the end of next season he will be 29 years old. I am expecting a close to $500M deal. Trout signed a 12/$426M deal.

Adam Frazier signs with the O's
I am surprised they haven't been more active in the FA market considering the step up they took this year

Thrilled the Giants didn’t hit that Rodon/Yankees contract. Rodon is really really good. But his health history is scary. A lot of years and a lot of money for someone who’s not quite a sure thing.

Yankees have signed Rodon. Six years, $162 million.
Yankees rotation is stacked.

I am fine with that deal
Yankees come in with a strong rotation now of: Cole Rodon Cortes Sevy Montas
Most stacked Yankees rotation have been in years

Yeah, that's closer to what he's worth, but still has some downside. But if Cole/Severino/Rodon are healthy and on, that's a strong rotation in October.

Before the injury this year he was pitching really well In the end he still got 19 starts with a 3.18 ERA. You take that especially if Montas rebounds the way you hope so whoever of those two has the best season gets the 4 spot in playoffs

Alright I guess Cashman is not so useless, but still need to improve the offense.

I can see them getting some arms for the BP (possibly bringing back Britton) and signing Brantley and calling it a day
Assuming they really want to move Josh to get his spot off the roster, I can see them paying majority of his salary for next year to move him

Get Donaldson and Hicks out of here, and that I am happy. They make me ill.

Hicks is most likely to stay on team due to money he is owed and since they are actively looking for another OF, he will be a 5th OF if anything Donaldson is more likely to get traded but probably not until closer to end of off-season when someone like Washington or Colorado may take him on just cause Yankees basically giving him up for free

Just you watch, there's going to be a deal that makes Judge's AAV and total look like a steal within the next five years. And Albert Pujols getting $24 million per year from the Angels is now dwarfed by other contracts, but it’s still a historically awful contract. Sure, someone like Shohei Ohtani or Kyle Tucker or whoever might come along and get $45 to $50 million annually, but the Yankees won’t be throwing themselves a party when they’re paying $40 million to Aaron Judge in his late-30s to play DH and hit like A-Rod in 2016.
