FU baseball again screwing the Yankees, someone tell MLB the neighborhood play does not exist, that is BS. If this happened in the playoffs, those umpires would not get out of there alive. Not to mention the Hicks at bat, that home plate umpire should never umpire another game.
Again, the Yankees have to pitch better, it is on them, they can't be giving up 7 runs to the crappy Giants lineup, but in the 9th inning, the umpires give the Giants that game. And you can't tell me other wise.

The Phillies have given up 27 runs through the first two games of the season
That's the most since 1895
This pitching staff was not ready for the season and everyone involved in the conditioning should be f***ing shamed of themselves, if not straight up fired
Coming off a World Series this looks like the worst pitching staff in the Majors, the fanbase ain't gonna stand for it, and they're already pissed, this is just embarrassing.

There is obviously big bias coming from me, but man, I continue to be amazed at what Kershaw does.

Jameson Taillon's cutter is making some of these brewers players look like they have never swung a bat before. Filthy so far in the early innings.
*Edit* LOL Nevermind, fooled them for a inning and a half, then overthrew it and they hit him like his name was Jason Marquis...

Got admit I love the new speed of the game. They just need to get the robot umpires here already.

Rangers get the sweep! I have very low expectations for the season, I'm gonna try not to let one sweep over the NL Champs to get my hopes up yet

Mets take 3 out of 4 against Miami, and happy to see Senga bounce back strong after a rough first inning. However, I can’t shake this feeling that these Mets aren’t really all that impressive. Their bottom half of the lineup imo is still underwhelming compared to the other elite teams of the league. Last year showed us that we can rack up all the regular season wins we want, but if we aren’t built for the post season it will be exposed. A strong pitcher won’t be intimidated by them. Much like last year.

That was pretty much what Taillon did with the Yanks. Look damn near unhittable and then just completely screw the pooch by the fifth inning.

Went to the Cards game yesterday. Obviously was a much better time than watching Wrestlemania. This offense is insanely talented so far. Hope they can keep it up for the rest of the season. Won't mean much though if this pitching staff continues to suck ass.

Either the Cincinnati Reds are all 2001 Barry Bonds at the plate or the Cubs pitching this game has been awful...

Won't mean much though if this pitching staff continues to suck ass. For sure need to make a deal for some pitching. We have way too many everyday caliber players and not nearly enough arms. Waino's last season, Quintana gone, Flaherty an ever-present injury risk, Mikolas is up and down.

Just thought I'd post this question because a friend brought it up today. For those of us who don't live near a team, how'd you pick your favorite team? I'm a rangers fan living in nova scotia. Almost everyone here is a jays fan. For me I started watching in 96 and loved the rangers red hats and jerseys and being 11 that made them my favorite team and I've stuck around for 27 years now.

Not a bad time to be a Rangers fan either with Pudge and Juan Gone.
