The 2018 Mets says hello. Hot start within the first month of the season followed by them falling straight back down to Earth, along with some brutal losing streaks. on the opposite side, 2019 was when they turned around a bad start over the summer and almost made it as a wild card. Ah yes, the "LFGM" run.

If the baseball wasn't ridiculously juiced that year, there's a good chance that Diaz shows up throwing well (maybe not 2021-2022 well, but well nonetheless) and doesn't blow tons of late game leads and they get that Wild Card. Of course, the juiced ball also helped Alonso hit over 50 homers, but homers around the entire league would've been down, too.

So the Phillies can actually win a game, cool
Now if Topper could realize playing Marsh and Sosa every day gives the offense its best chance to score runs, that'd be nice.

Oh there’s no doubt they’ll come back to earth…I just doubt it’s tonight against Berrios. Berrios rolled a Nat 20 I opened my big mouth haha. This season is weird as hell.

Mets have walked 17 times in one game a new team record, remember folks when you say the Mets suck, it could always be worse, you could be the A’s

Hot start within the first month of the season followed by them falling straight back down to Earth, along with some brutal losing streaks. on the opposite side, 2019 was when they turned around a bad start over the summer and almost made it as a wild card. 2019 also had the Nationals start 19-31 in their first 50 games, then they went bonkers, got the playoffs, and won the World Series. Mets have walked 17 times in one game a new team record, remember folks when you say the Mets suck, it could always be worse, you could be the A’s The Athletics are still the most got-dang annoying team to play in MLB The Show. I swear, it seems like all their pitchers get +50 in attributes when controlled by the CPU. At least other pain in the ass teams like the Cardinals and Rays are actually good, so it's understandable, but the Athletics, freaking hell. Today is April 15th. Happy Jackie Robinson Day.

Cubs won a good one last night against the Dodgers, hopefully they continue tonight and at least keep winning a series! Though with Taillon on the hill for the Cubs I am nervous as so far he has stunk up the joint this season with his whopping 7.05 ERA.

Blue Jays beat the Rays again
Oh and apparently visiting teams announcers cant go into their press box of Oakland Coliseum because a freaking possum has been holed up in there between the walls for weeks now and you can now smell the possum droppings.

The 2 teams that have to win today because it just feels right on this day are the Mets and the Dodgers. The Mets did their part.

Keep losing, losers. Every day closer to firing Kapler and Farhan is a good one. Hey I know you're having a panic attack over the Kings game probably, but what do you think of DeSclafani this year? Is he back or is he just facing weak line-ups? The Cards might definitely be in the market for arms later this year.

Is he back or is he just facing weak line-ups? The Cards might definitely be in the market for arms later this year. Might be back to form. He was so good two seasons ago, then tanked last year… but had a nagging ankle injury. Looks like that’s been in the past and he’s good again. Don’t really expect the ace-like stuff to continue though!

The shrieking Nats fans by the broadcast mics have made this an unexpectedly irritating game to listen to.
