Order is restored, Yankees do what they are suppose to do, beat up the Twins. Still are unbeaten in series this year. Now hopefully no let down against a lousy Angels looking ahead to the Blue Jays. Still the offense needs to pick up, Stanton or no Stanton, 2 runs is not going to cut it most days, it certainly doesn't cut it when the other 4 pitchers in our rotation are pitching. You are asking too much of the pitching staff to only 2 runs.

I don't know how much longer you can excuse it as "well they're just a young team", but man, this current lineup for Cleveland collectively feels like once they get frazzled, it's hard to impossible for them to get their momentum back within a single game. Though today in particular was embarrassing from the sheer amount of leadoff hits that were being given. This current group has skewed towards losing games due to offense not keeping up with the pitching, but this felt like a late 90s Tribe throwback with the offense doing their part and the pitching just kind of sucking the air out of things.

Cubs win another series!! Always good when a young team can roll into LA and out pitch the Dodgers staff. Nice series win! Now off to Oakland where the Cubs will hand Boog Sciambi and Rick Sutcliffe a net to go get that possum out of the visiting broadcast booth!

Mets do what they should do and sweep Oakland.
Definitely issues that need to be worked on for the moment: the injuries to the starting pitching are a concern (though Verlander's seemingly going to debut soon, likely when this west coast road trip ends), but the biggest issue is that the bottom part of the lineup just isn't producing at all.
Some of that will fix itself; some of the guys off to a slow start will get righted, stuff like that. But it's interesting to note they've now called up top prospect Brett Baty, which could signal that Eduardo Escobar's starting spot at third is not long for this world. If Baty can produce at something even borderline resembling what he's been doing so far at AAA this year, it'll be a huge boost, but he's still very young.

But I don't really have much faith in nor want to see Vogelbach, Pham (despite his home runs) Escobar, in the lineup regulary. Alvarez had a better day today despite going hitless, hoping the K's will become less frequent. Mark Canha? Idk. He's not bad per say, but I don't really think he belongs in the heart of our order. Ideally, I'd like to see Mcneil move the of and move Mauricio to 2B if possible. Or perhaps one of them can be our DH. As our team currently stands, Ideally, I'd feel more at ease with this lineup going forward but as much as I love Mcneil is he really a five hitter? 1) Nimmo-CF 2) Marte-RF 3) Lindor-SS 4) Alonso-1B 5) Mcneil- LF 6) Baty- 3B 7) Mauricio-2B 8) Alvarez-C 9) Canha- DH Bench- Nido, Guillorme, Escobar(maybe he can sort it out as a platoon dh?, Pham, Locastro I'd like to see Vientos up later as well DFA Vogelbach, he's useless.

Anthony Bass is trying his best to get the Jays fanbase to turn on him it seems.
Maybe he wants out or something.

Patrick Wisdom has homered in 4 straight games now. If dude finally turned that corner I will be happy and will take back some of the bad things ive said about him in the past.

He is absolutely destroying the baseball, right now. And a 5 hit nigh for Cody Bellinger. It’s early, but this Cubs team is a lot of fun

well Mets have been winning, they haven’t been great wins, in fact some of them have been pretty ugly (like last night vs the Dodgers but it’s still a win

Like it or not, Vogelbach's got an .800 OPS in limited playing time (Mets have faced a disproportionate amount of left handers to start the year); if he keeps doing that and his power comes around, he won't be going anywhere, since he and Escobar can probably platoon at DH. I actually thought last night's win was a very good one for the Mets, not really ugly at all outside of the usual "Freddie @#$%ing Freeman owns the Mets" home runs; offense came up big, defense was great, bullpen was solid, Peterson was probably better than his line showed even if he's still not performing up to his capabilities. If anything, last night's win was the first one I've seen in awhile that makes me go "Ok, the team's getting itself righted, things are going to be alright." ETA: Rangers unveiled their City Connect looks and, uh...well, alrighty then.

Mets have walked 17 times in one game a new team record, remember folks when you say the Mets suck, it could always be worse, you could be the A’s Jesus.....I get that the A's are....you know, what they are, but good lord. I wasn’t alive for Charles Finley’s ownership but this is exactly that except without lucking into enough talent to win us a World Series. All I can say is f*** John Fisher. New stadium or no, he needs to sell. To someone who will keep the team in Oakland and run it like a respectable franchise.

It's only 4 starts in and he's still got time to make the adjustment, but as it is, Clarke Schmidt is not starting material on the Yankees. He hasn't made it through 4 innings yet this season.
Though as long as the Yankee starters are the walking wounded, he's got about 4-5 more starts to figure things out.

It’s early, but this Cubs team is a lot of fun Wisdom this year has kind of reminded me of Soriano where he just goes on a super hot streak and whatever he makes contact with will leave the park. Bellinger hitting ALOT is also very very nice to see, cannot wait for him to become a problem to opposing pitchers this summer at the federal landmark! Already have a ticket for next month for them vs Mets, and also a ticket in June and August as well. This team is ALOT more fun to watch than last seasons team, I still eye the last weekend of June for Mervis to be called up. PCA is also really hot at Double A this season which is nice to see.

He's a solid BP guy but him as a starter has been passed Give Devi Garcia a chance before you DFA like the rest of top Yankee prospects they kept in minors forever

I have had it with Schmitt as well, but I tell you who I really have had it with, is this Yankee offense. Once in a while they will explode for 6 to 8 runs, but often it is this, 2 lousy runs. And it is all Brain Cashman's fault, he put together a lousy lineup with too many swing and miss guys and no clutch jeans.

On a night in which the Knicks lost by almost 20 points, the team I am most pissed off at tonight are the Yankees, how do you lose to the crappy Angels and score 2 lousy runs?
