Texas has been legit even without DeGrom They have been surprisingly good, but it is still early. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop on Jon Gray. Had a career 4.51 ERA (granted, Coors factor) and this year has a 2.51. Unless it's some Rick Porcello BS year. Eovaldi was helped by leaving Fenway which is a bandbox. Most likely a Porcello type year Their offense is killing people tho with having almost .280 average which is crazy so if pitching is halfway decent they can hold. They are def pitching above their means tho but when your offense has big leagues and has a +150 runs against, you won't get worn out and stuck in stressful situations (see Yankees)

Another 10 plus run day for the rangers. I've been a fan for a long time and even the optimist in me didn't think they'd be this good so far

Arizona, like Fenway, has a pretty deep and wonky center field with a good s8zed wall. If you're gonna pimp a fly ball, it better be 500 feet. But overall unsurprising from Ozuna, who has a tough time telling home runs even from the outfield when he's under the ball. I'm pretty sure Tim Tebow has a higher baseball IQ.

Why isn't Judge playing, this is ridiculous, does Aaron Boone know the Yankees lost on Friday, I understand if they were going for a sweep, but come on, this is for the series, Judge has to play.

Pinch hit is diff from fielding and running. He's only got to run the bases maybe once. Why aggravate the injury when he's hot and they have a day off tomorrow That would be stupid. He f*** around and aggravate the injury more and gets a turf toe and is out 6-8 weeks

It is like boy who cried wold here the way the Yankees like to load manage.

He has tried to give people rest when he can but with an already banged up Yankee squad there is no reason to risk losing your best player for weeks when you are already in a tight division Better to give him rest than lose him for weeks when they already just lost Nester to the IL today

Earlier this year Buxton went into a 2nd baseman awkwardly and landed right on his head. Probably because they're both worried about shredding their knees (again.) But damn, quit putting yourselves in the damn air. Both are lucky they didn't have a broken freakin' neck.

If this collapses after all the BS the a's pulled in oakland... I don’t see him having a backup plan after this. If he tries with any new city, he’d have to start the whole process over, and I don’t see him having the political or financial will to do that. Hopefully he’ll see the writing on the wall and sell to someone dedicated to keeping them in Oakland.

Jacob deGrom will undergo Tommy John's surgery. His season is done and he won't be back by June next year at earliest.
Mets looking really vindicated right now.

They dodged a major bullet Still overpaid for Verlander but they have to feel happy they are not attached to a big contract with DeGrom
