So Yankees/ Red Sox again next Sunday as well, WTF ESPN enough is enough no one cares. And 3 Sundays in a row with the Yankees on Sunday Night Baseball, there should be rules against that. And I am Yankee fan, and I can understand why outsider would be pissed off at this. Don't other teams play in this league. ESPN has always been dreadfully biased towards Yankees/Red Sox, but damn if you wouldn't think from the way games are covered on TV in general that the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Giants, and MAYBE the Cubs are the only teams that matter. (And the Braves if you're watching TBS.) Don't get me going on the postseason commentary when it was New York vs Cleveland last playoffs.

Last season the Yankees record on Sunday Night Baseball was terrible, so far 1-0. But still I hate when my team on national television, with all the announcers know little about the teams and have a bias against them. I want my Michael Kay and Paul O'Neil.

Imo, NBC covered hockey tremendously. I know and understand what you’re implying (pens/blackhawks/capitals favored) but TNT and ESPN stink at Hockey. NBC felt privileged to have the NHL. ESPN has it for shits and giggles.

Wish the MLB network on the app would update their flashbacks they play between innings and pitching changes.
Every break “IT’S A HOME RUN FOR ADLEY RUTCHMAN!”
Although this could be a region thing, I'm in Australia and they have not sold any ad space due to the small market for regular season baseball. So they show flsdhbacks and Baseball Zen during breaks instead of ads (the odd betting company as usual will play though)

Javier Baez can't even OPS .600 these days.
I can't recall someone falling off a cliff so fast.

Brandon Crawford got to throw the 9th inning with the Giants up by 10 runs.
0.00 career ERA for the best SS in SF history!

FU Volpe, sent his ass down, I am tired of this crap. Go down to the minors and learn how to get big hits.
That being said, 2 runs, the Yankee offense has to do better than that, and don't give me this Judge is not here crap. With this payroll, you should not be losing series at home to crappy teams like the White Sox and Red Sox, that is unacceptable.

Of course, rookie hitters are supposed to hit .300 and .400 with RISP like Aaron Judge did when he was a rookie... Oops, he hit .179 in his first season and struck out in half out of his ABs.
Volpe strikes out entirely too much as a guy whose best asset is his ability to make contact. I'm getting an inkling that Cashman and his merry band of player development saboteurs adjusted Volpe's swing to have him swing for the fences instead of taking a proper two-strike approach, which has led to the K's. Because living and dying by the HR for all hitters 1-9 is such an effective offensive strategy.
Have I mentioned in the past few years that Cashman is a f***ing idiot? Because he is.
At this point, I'm not surprised with another series loss. The Yankees are still not worth watch watching because they're the same team they've been for the last five years. Now, of course, the fact that Judge is the keystone player really sticks out like a sore thumb, and when he's injured or doesn't hit, the Yankees will fall asleep 7 times out of 10. That's not exciting baseball in the least. And it alllllll goes back to that bald bitch who can't get fired.

So my thoughts on the Volpe situation is yeah a rookie struggling isn't something new. Yet at the same time I agree with him needing to be sent down. He shouldn't have been promoted from AA to the show so send him down to AAA for a little bit see if you can't work on the batting mechanics a bit. Like I don't think he's a bum or a bust but I think he could use some time getting marinated

The Yankees strike me as a team that's basically taken the LeBron approach to things as of late, in the sense that the team has been AARON JUDGE!!! and the Yankees for a while now. Problem with building your team entirely around one megastar is that the instant they're hurt or otherwise not playing, the rest of the team feels like they're in full "Where's Poochie?" mode and flailing about.

I am fine with Volpe getting every chance to succeed in in the majors but he could def use a reset in AAA
Yankees problem is same it’s been over last 5 years. No one is healthy for a full season and if Judge isn’t a monster they look pedestrian
Rizzo and Gleyber were off to great starts but have fallen off. Just overall bad vibes around this team as they can never stay healthy. Boone and Cashman need to go but it’s Boone as the puppet that will be shit canned first

Am I the only one confused by the reverse boycott? Like if I'm understanding this correctly the plan is to show up wear sell the team shirts, carry signs etc during the game? I'm sorry but the heartless billionaire isn't going to be moved by this, hell if anything all it does is give him more money cause yall are now showing up to the game(games?). Seriously this man doesn't give a shit about you the fans, the city of Oakland or the actual baseball product. So why would he care that people are spending money on his product to tell him to go to hell?
And this is by no means me saying the fans are wrong for being upset, wanting something to be done. But I just don't get the logic of feeding the greedy owner more money as a that'll show em move
