Yeah.
The thing that appealed to me about AEW was that they had a bunch of great young guys, helped along by vets, and you were gonna watch them grow and evolve and you can track their career and pick your favorite. That was the draw. That was the thing that WWE doesn’t have.
When you bring in Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal and you’re giving them mic time and showcase matches — you’ve really moved away from that initial draw.

It's all AEW. They might still use the name but ROH as we knew it died when AEW bought it, or probably even before that when they had that shutdown last year. It's like when WWE made ECW a show under its umbrella. It's just a WWE C brand now. It might be an enjoyable C brand but it's not actually ECW/ROH anymore. And just like WWE didn't trust ECW to draw on its own and would have constant main roster stars show up ROH/AEW seems like it's going to follow the same path with the likes of Jericho and FTR carrying the brand so far who have no ROH history. The idea of Jericho winning the ROH title in preparation for a TV deal and him trying to beat all the former ROH people was actually a decent idea at first but that story is stale now. For one, it doesn't appear that a TV deal is actually imminent. Meltzer said again yesterday that they were no further along with that that they were a couple of months ago. And with Punk gone Danielson is by far the biggest ROH guy they have and Jericho has already beaten him multiple times. The story has taken place backwards. If Jericho has already proven he can beat the best/biggest ROH stars like Danielson and Claudio then no one is going to buy him losing when he's then facing relative mid-low carders like Cabana/Castle/Bandido in random TV matches. Also, why do you need Dark and Dark Elevation? Turn one into a ROH exclusive show and if it draws good numbers on Youtube that can be a selling point to show TV networks. And if it doesn't draw well then it's probably not going to do well on TV either anyway. Just another part of Jericho's current midlife crisis it is right now.

It's better than the Elite being a focal point.

It's the same picture...
It's just a weird time for the company with too many eggs in one basket, why make AEW Trios and whatever the Mid Atlanic (?) title is supposed to be, when ROH has like four singles belts and its own trios belts coming in, between AEW and ROH, it's possible I might even be champion. A bunch of badly timed injuries, suspensions, and going all-in with CM Punk. TK should have already been building to a reset but it feels like the PPV this week is just a remix of the last one.
I'm tired of the BCC and JAS feud which a lot of the ROH titles are connected to, and nobody asked for Jay Lethal. Even has a huge fan of 2021 ROH, I don't know why they have time to highlight talent like Josh Woods, Bandito is fine but now what? I like AR Fox as much as the next guy but what is he going to be doing besides hanging out on Dark. It's company-wide. You can't just blame this on focusing on the ROH brand.
It's a strange mix of giving guys like Jericho, Cesaro, Joe, and Danielson something to do, and then a reason to keep other talent like FTR off tv, because I guess they will be highlighted later? TK focuses on some talent for like six weeks straight to the point where it feels like theyre a meme, then they disappear, not to be seen again for another three months The matches are good and titles are worth fighting for, but there's no direction for anything.

For me the issue isn't with ROH, it's the way ROH was used
I gave up on WWE years ago because it felt lazy, was just "x wants title, match, now y wants title"
AEW had one singles one tag belt so there was storylines. Then they got a second belt. Then women got second belt. Then ROH belts, then Trios titled
Now it feels like AEW is just x wants title or even just x is fighting for title. He'll sometimes its x is fighting champion for a title shot
Everything got so lazy, and worse there aren't even shock results. Has a champion lost yet in a match to earn a shot? Has there been a random title change in middle of a Dynamite? I honestly can't remember
They even got rid of rankings, which could have been used to produce interesting matches and concepts, to make it just fights for belts
How many open challenges have there been? How many times has a champion or challenger just happened to interrupt an interview and two sentences later there are now fighting on Rampage?
Hell at least have a 7 man brawl interrupt a Moxley promo as people are fighting to interrupt
Everything has gone in a bubble, whereas before everyone felt part of a show, now its the worst of WWE where every feud and storyline exists in its own universe
Why are only hobbs and Joe after wardlow? Why has everyone ignored world title simply because MJF has a match for it in a month. Get everyone involved, create chaos, it's professional wrestling on TV, treat it like a TV show not an independent show with just cards of wrestlers and the occasional interview or attack

If you had asked before Jericho become ROH champion I’d have said 100%
Now it’s only went down to 98% but still I am enjoying him as the ocho
But yeah it needs to be removed from AEW and kept as it’s own thing whether its on TV, YouTube or something because I have no interest in the brand overall

There is no difference between Dark or Elevation, take one of them and make it a ROH show already, theres already 7 titles in AEW already, The ROH titles being defended regularly on AEW tv just makes every title meaningless

I know I’m in the minority here but the only tiresome thing about ROHEW is Jericho getting his “late Career Hogan if he were in shape and/or had a work rate” push….
Now if ROHEW gives me Briscos/Bucks tearing the house down at some point? Perfect.

Everything has gone in a bubble, whereas before everyone felt part of a show, now its the worst of WWE where every feud and storyline exists in its own universe Yeah this is an increasing problem. If one of your favourites gets sucked into a fued you're not interested in they're basically lost for six months. If they're not in such a fued they might not even make TV. Before there was as often a little side story they might get involved in. Either way development seems minimal, you could skip weeks and not miss much where once it felt like you were rewarded for paying attention. Now it doesn't feel as connected, things aren't a logical progression based on previous events but more chess pieces being moved around for a payoff that rarely comes. Like you say stories away from titles are limited, I can't imagine something like Best Friends Vs PNP happening today. It's not roh specific but so many lose momentumn for no obvious reason. Even Ftr and hook disappear for weeks. However roh is the obvious thing to remove to regain some focus and get the likes of Silver doing something notable more often.

Yes. Having RoH just adds to the problem of too many belts, feuds that seem to have been going on forever (BCC vs JAS) and takes time away from AEW performers. It also feels like these RoH feuds are separate from the main product and feel out of place.

I love seeing ROH guys get major TV exposure. Especially commentators and announcers like Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman, and Bobby Cruise.
Has it diluted the product, especially all the titles? A bit. But I'm not tired of it either. I just hope ROH gets its own show sooner than later, with ROH wrestlers feuding over ROH angles and ROH titles.

I am genuinely shocked at how many people are tired of it to the point it's turning them off to the product as a whole here
I've found it so generally inoffensive. I get that it's made Lethal a weekly fixture and maybe that alone is enough for FAN to hate it at this point, but it's given us a lot of great wrestlers and wrestling as a whole on the show itself, and I can't say Jericho with his Ring of Jericho run hasn't been fun either.
I want ROH to get its own show too, and it sounds like Tony's ready to push forward with it too, but I don't feel like the executions been terrible, but given how this poll looks, part of me wonders if anyone here will even watch an ROH show after all this lol.

Yes, I used to be a fan of ROH many years ago when it was just a super indy but I stopped following it and I'm not interested in the product right now. I'd rather just focus on AEW and their titles/storylines.
It sounds like they will get their own show soon, so that's good news for that brand.

TBH I prefer him over Justin Roberts.
Ian and Caprice are really good together. Ian's done work recently for NJPW and Impact, too. One of the best play-by-play guys going today and I'm not just kissing his butt because he has an account here.

Wasn't Lethal signed to an AEW contract a good few months before Tony officially purchased ROH? Sanjay Dutt is an AEW producer of some sort who's been around behind-the-scenes before becoming an AEW on-screen talent. Singh is an AEW pet project. Jarrett is also an AEW signing both on and off-camera. And they're feuding with two AEW guys in Darby and Sting.
I don't mean to make this sound like a threat, but the Lethal AEW appearances will continue whether or not ROH gets its own shows.
