Hopefully that cements the TV title being retired but either way I'm down for it.

More excited to see what this does for Wardlow than Joe being champ
Wardlow needs a reset after he has lost momentum as TNT champ and Joe if healthy should be a fine TNT champion. Have him put over Jungle Boy or Keith Lee

Have him put over Jungle Boy or Keith Lee Yeah felt like this was an admission that they needed to change things up for both the title and Wardlow. Wardlow is still very over, but the momentum just wasn't there. Joe can not only still go but can get so much over on the mic it was just the right move

Wardlow's in this really weird place with me where I recognize he's pretty good and he has some killer presentation but I kind of just struggle a lot to care about much of anything he has going on. His TNT run sucking as much as it did is certainly a part of it but really even before that, and coming out of it, I'm just kind of like, "Yeah, Wardlow needs to find something to rebound with, I guess, whatever."
Maybe it's just the whole, "We have Brock at home," kind of aspect of his gimmick and how thoroughly sick of the actual Brock I am, I dunno.

I would think maybe it because he is presented as super cool and bad ass where there is a bit of overexposure to an extent.

I like that Wardlow caused this by saying he was going to take all the belts trying to piss off Hobbs. Joe heard that and just decided to introduce him to the back of the line.
Also, I like Wardlow but the Powerbomb Symphony has to go. If it was like the double Powerbomb of old, that'd be cool but this is too much like Ezekiel Jackson's old powerslam movement.

So we got two Samoa Joes in wrestling carrying around two belts. Interesting

It's great for the jobber squash type things but... when you get to an actual match though you kinda need an actual finisher that's not just spamming the same move... I like Wardlow and he's clearly got some star power... but they kinda booked him into a corner as his entire storyline was the MJF thing... and him getting screwed out of the TNT title. After that he has just... kinda been around... not really doing anything.

Wardlow on Wednesday: "I heard a lot of JERKS online saying I needed to lose the TNT title because I've lost momentum and it'd be a good way to reset my career and get back on track. Well let me tell you little jerks who chip away at my self confidence little by little: THE WAR DOG WON'T!!! LET!!! YOU!!! GET TO ME!!!!"
*smash cut to interview with Wardlow two days before Full Gear: Wardlow on Wednesday: "I think I need to lose the TNT title because I've lost momentum and it'd be a good way to reset my career and get back on track."

I get to an extent why some want the titles unified, but unless ROH will have like, 1 hour and no midcard, getting rid of the TV title could be an issue, though I guess the Pure title would then be the de facto middle belt.

It's kind of a get rid of one or the other thing for me. Not really seeing what use ROH has for two separate midcard titles and could always just reintroduce one later if you needed to. That said I'd probably more readily get rid of the Pure title than the TV one, but either works really.

I don't disagree, exactly, especially if the 6-man titles remain, though it might make more sense for the TV to absorb the Pure, or vice versa, rather than doing it with with the TNT title unless ROH ends up on one of the Warner channels.

I loved the show so I'm watching the replay and, having just rewatched this match, it's probably the second favorite of the night.
JR sounded so inspired on commentary for it too. Just a fantastic three big man match.
Agreed that I'm excited what this means for Wardlow, especially since it seems they've dropped the "Wardlow's World" thing that was the first real Wardlow thing that was not catching on. A strong course correction.
Samoa Joe looks strong and awesome, and Hobbs' actions and expressions after the match added such a compelling element to his character.
f***, all three guys and both titles came out looking better because of this match - and I've heard a number of wrestlers in shoots over the years say that a straight up triangle match is *the* most challenging match to do.
Bookmark this one for the inevitable "hidden AEW gems" list in a few years.

I didn't enjoy the match, or finish, or winner as much as others seem to, but I'm gonna wait and see where they go with it.

Joe can not only still go but can get so much over on the mic it was just the right move Yeah I don’t think Wardlow should be in a mid card title division. He squashed MJF in like 5 minutes. When you book him so strongly against main event talent, he’s going to look like he’s slumming if you put him with low/mid card talent. Joe is the first guy he will feud with that seems like a legit threat to him, and he needs more of that. He doesn’t need the equivalent of the TV title. With that said, I was hoping Hobbs would win it, but they can always build him up to take it down the road.
