Just observing but the way some people take AEW so personal like that guy if you say anything negative about it makes me rethink even watching it I enjoy the other product more just saying. I wasn't taking it personal, I was frustrated by the notion that "This is right because they said it was right", and AEW, WWE, New Japan, whatever wrestling company, any fandom as a whole, I think that take and that stance sucks. I simply called it out and gave my feelings towards it. Hate AEW all you like, watch, don't, think WWE's better? Good for you. If we're gonna start acting like people can't say anything negative about AEW however, almost every current thread going is a ton of criticism towards the product or a specific thing about it, that has gone pretty much uninhibited in its takes. This might literally be the most pessimistic/divided this board has ever been about the product, so like... no, no one's negativity about AEW is being held down, whatsoever. I, personally, just thought that take was bad, and I said so, and it has zero to do with white knighting for a particular product. To say something is matters less or to undercut how something is supposed to feel because either a fan poll said so, you somehow know what a large portion of the audience thinks and wants, or you said so, doesn't sit right with me and that's how it came off, so I said something. And I'd appreciate it if it wasn't turned into another "You can't say anything negative about AEW" comment because that's not true, and it feels like any time I, or anyone else counterpoint something anymore, that's the deflection, and forgive me if that's a bit tiring as well. No. That take was not bad and it’s a valid criticism. I personally, think that other than winning the ROH title (which to me, is pretty worthless right now with no actual brand or show to defend it on), his run has been pretty uninspired in AEW and, I just enjoyed him more overall in WWE in my opinion. You don’t agree that’s fine. Ain’t nonthing wrong with that. But if people have a different take then you, different opinion then you, just let it be. It’s not the end of the world. No need to reply to every poster who has a valid criticism or negative take on the booking, or story or a wrestler or TK himself. to a lot of people. AEW isn’t firing on all cylinders right now and people want to express that frustration anyway they can without you telling people is a bad take. Is that kind of attitude that puts people off of the AEW Board, it’s fans and the company as a whole. So just chillax and let people vent

AEW isn’t firing on all cylinders right now and people want to express that frustration anyway they can without you telling people is a bad take. Is that kind of attitude that puts people off of the AEW Board, it’s fans and the company as a whole. So just chillax and let people vent I thought something was BS, I called it out, I'm not trying to make enemies, I'm just speaking my mind, and venting myself, like literally everyone else here. I said in my posts it was something I wanted to get off my chest, it's pretty disheartening when I vent I'm essentially told to stop and just "let others vent" and that my attitude would put people off to the entire board and brand that is AEW, tbh. Like it's draining, it's alienating, to say the least. I don't reply to every poster, I let a lot of stuff go, I'd appreciate if it wasn't a huge deal when I do call something out for imo being a bad take, that's not a personal attack. I'm not trying to invalidate someone for not enjoying a product, If you thought Claudio's WWE run was better, more power to you, I argued different but it's not like it'll change a made up mind I just threw my POV out there. That's not what my problem was though, really. The entire reason I responded at all was the reasoning used in trying to use validation from a poll or some other scare source to deflect the possibility that something like Claudio's ROH Title run or the ROH Title in general can't be looked at another way. That's it. By all means think the titles are worthless, it's the notion that saying that makes it a fact because a lot of peeps on FAN aren't fans of ROH in AEW's product right now, that made me counterpoint, and question that assertion, and it's not like others also didn't speak up and talk about how the ROH Title matches and such have gotten great reactions live in this thread too. That's my point. That being said, yeah, I'm done, I don't think there's anything else that can or really should be said about this. I just wanted to clarify what I'm not trying to do here or how it's being taken, for all that it may matter. Have a good night.

Only the Shadow knows, and possibly Regal.

Meltzer seemed to be reporting it as fact last I saw. So I think yes.

It’s cool to see him win the ROH title but it’s like winning the WCW title when WCW closed. Or more similar to winning the ECW title when it was part of WWE, given ROH’s stature is more similar to ECW.

Meltzer seemed to be reporting it as fact last I saw. So I think yes. Yeah, Meltzer was pretty definitive about it on WOR with Garrett yesterday. Basically said he doesn’t know the ins and outs of how it’s happening, but that Regal is heading back to WWE. Definitely seems like he’s about to end up back in Hunter’s inner circle.

That sucks I was enjoying Regal. At least he stuck around long enough to finish the story I guess.

Yeah, if Regal is going at least he's done it right and gone out on his back to put over MJF as the Worst Person Ever.

I wish they had done more while he was there than just BCC vs. JAS endlessly.
Still it’s obvious Trips loves him and wanted him back.

A fantastic cameo from Regal. Came in, cut some great promos, did some excellent commentary work, the first few months of the BCC were amazing and although the stable fell into Jericho the Clout Vampire purgatory, Regal kept doing great work.
I'd say the brief run rejuvenated him to no end, and now he heads back to WWE where he can do his most important work behind the scenes.

I wonder how long they knew this was coming for and if it changed any plans with the Garcia angle.

Loved Regal's AEW run and I'm gonna miss the dude but if he wants to go back to his old job where he can also work with his son, I can't fault him.
He came in, cut some great promos, formed a cool faction, basically helped Yuta get to the next level and left by putting over AEW's top homemade heel making him look like a vile piece of shit.
Great work by Regal overall. Gonna miss him flirting with Excalibur haha

The abruptness of this kinda blows but again once both major companies are more settled hopefully the whole industry can move forward more smoothly.
