I really hope the two sides can come to an agreement beforehand and he has one final Heel run before hanging it up, but i understand if people disagree Edit: ok so here is a list of shit that has happened since Punk came back from injury last July -Calls out Hangman in a promo, knowing full well he couldn’t come out and respond -Wins the World title from Mox at All Out -Goes off on post All Out scrum and shoots on The Bucks, Hangman, and Colt Cabana while shoving his face with Muffins -After the scrum, the Elite come in with Megha and Punk assaults the Bucks and Ace Steel bites Kenny -Punk relinquishes the World title and the Elite relinquish the trios titles -Rumors of a buyout of Punk’s contract -Rumors of Punk in talks to come back to AEW, while not even hours later he makes an IG post bashing Jericho, Meltzer and Mox -Rumors of Punk returning to a new AEW show and becoming top guy of the show -Punk backstage on Raw, apparently squashing beef with Miz and talking to HHH -Metzler calls Punk out on being one of his sources -Story comes out that Punk cut off Colt for having dinner with KO, Sami, And other buds while the lawsuit is going on -Punk shows up backstage on impact and plays uno -Punk blows up at AEW because they don’t want to hire Ace Steel -Punk advertised to return on June 17th collision main eventing with FTR -Punk interviewed on ESPN, apologized for Scrum but complains about Hangman

Yeah, I hope Punk can at least swallow his pride and look at the bigger picture here. There is a lot of money to be made from all of this.

Punk putting over Omega or, at the veyr least, Punk putting over Eddie Kingston (since they've been slowly building toward that rematch for a year) would be the two and only two (maybe three if Punk would put over Cabana) I think potentially would be worth sorting out.
But this is Punk we're talking about here so...

I'd be up for a Punk heel run, but only because wrestling to me is more fun when there's someone I actively dislike in it.
Just like sports. My two favorite teams to watch in sports are my favorite team to see them win, and the team I hate the most to see them lose.
That said, I get the people who are sick of him or feel he crossed a line or whatever. All which are perfectly valid opinions.

The one silver lining with Punk being hurt is it buys time. Hopefully enough time where they can find a solution that works for all parties involved. I don't think him being back is likely but weirder things have happened in wrestling.
