Yeah, it's not like he made some dickish tweets about a movie people liked or asked not to work with a fan favorite. 'Not assaulting people' is actually a very common thing for people to value.

When he cross-faced him, this guy bit him. I guess there was a fking dog in there, Punk’s dog. He was in there and Omega was trying to pick up the dog. He’s seeing his friend getting beat up. They initially were only going to come in and say, ‘Hey, what the fk’, but Punk thought they were going to get attacked, so he defended himself.”

“That’s the story, and the rumor is he’s signing with WWE. That would be massive. If he has a year left, well, they’ll wait a year I guess. One thing is he doesn’t have to wrestle. He’s a legend now. Konnan said that the Bucks "busted in there" (Punk’s locker room). Would the Bucks have seriously tried to ambush into Punk's locker room with the heads of talent and legal right beside them? That's why it changes what Konnan said.

Konnan's account is full of words but little detail. What does "busting in" mean? Did they kick down the door? Did they push it open? Did they push past Punk when he was trying to block their entry? Did they walk through an open door loudly? It could mean any of those things.

I have no doubt that Konnan is just parroting stuff he's been told, but when information becomes second, third, fourth-hand, it becomes less and less reliable. That doesn't mean Konnan is purposely lying, it just means the info isn't reliable because of the number of people who've put their own spin on it. It's been the same with every single account that has come out about this thing.

Which the Bucks and Co. likely wouldn't do when they literally have the company's lawyer with them.

I mean, yes. That is how describing a story works.

If arena security was involved, we wouldn’t hear about it because it was dealt in house. If the police were involved, we would know way more about it than we do because it’d be a public matter. That isn’t a flub, that’s the entire basis.
