I can believe that Punk didn't know Hangman was asked to leave. That feels like a TK call to avoid any possible issues two weeks before All-In. However, the serious issue here is Punk having the power to ban the head of talent relations from Collision, and by extension, ROH. Basically, Daniels can't be face to face with over half the wrestlers under contract unless it is away from the arena or through video. That is pretty f'd up.

I see that today is the "it's all just a misunderstanding and Punk is really a good guy" day.

Whether Punk asked for the Hangman promo to be moved or it was done preemptively because AEW thought it would cause problems, does it really matter? Both circumstances are messing with plans because of Punk. If people are walking on eggshells backstage to keep Punk happy that's just as bad.

I can't help but feel that indies Punk would be embarrassed by the Punk of today.

Speaking on Torg & Elliott, Mark Henry was asked if fans would ever see Kenny Omega vs. CM Punk in a ring.

"I want to see it too. It's just a matter of time. You let things iron themselves out, and you see where things lead to. Could you imagine an AEW tournament for the World Title and on one side of the bracket, to go to the finals, you have Kenny Omega and CM Punk meet up against each other? It would be incredible," said Henry.

Punk and Omega were reportedly talking to each other after the All Out incident and Punk reportedly has no issues with Omega.

Henry continued by saying, "The top 100 wrestlers of all time, they're halfway on it. CM Punk and Kenny Omega are in the top 40 of all time. People don't realize, you go to the NFL, look up the top 100 football players, see who is in the top 40. It will blow your mind. Same thing with any other sport. I'd like to see the top 100 baseball players and see who is the top 40. It's nothing to sneeze at. I believe in both of those guys being great competitors and I feel they have a lot left, multiple years. Kenny Omega just signed a new deal. He's going to be around another four years."

I don't want to see Hardy work matches anymore either, but - if indeed this has been confirmed to be the case - why is it the top guy's place to ban a veteran from television if he's committed no offence?

The really amazing part about this story is how much it's absolutely Punk's fault for it getting out. If he doesn't call out Hangman, it doesn't put an air of suspicion around Hangman filming a promo on location. If there's no question around if Hangman was denied access thanks to Punk, we probably don't find out about the guys who Punk actually f***ing has been having turned away at the door. Dude wanted to brag about selling toys so bad that now people are talking about him f***ing with undercard guys' bookings and having management barred from the arena. It's staggering how deeply this guy f***ing sucks.

Again, I'm not particularly keen to watch Matt Hardy on my tv either. It's surely not the place of a fellow performer to unilaterally decide he's not welcome at a taping, though?
