I know Joe has the years to be called a veteran, but has he ever taken on the role of one backstage? Genuine question there. I don't know much about his WWE run. He was being trained to do backstage work at the PC, be Regal's second in command, so I think he would have picked up something. |

He started (and lost) a fight with Kevin Nash after shooting on him and Scott Hall on a PPV in TNA It wasn't really a fight per se, and he wasn't the one who physically started it. To hear Nash tell it, they got backstage following the shoot, and Nash asked him outright if he cleared that with anybody before doing it or if he went into business for himself. When he'd confirmed he hadn't Nash slapped him in the face over it. Joe realizing that this wasn't worth getting fired over thought better of it and walked away. The following night Joe apologized and the two were cool after that. For his part Joe acknowledged that Nash's reaction was largely based on him openly shitting on his best friend when he didn't understand the extent of Hall's issues like Nash did. |

Once again, I ask for the cliff notes version of what has happened now. I know about the Hangman comments, I need an update past that lol Punk camp to the sheets time basically lol -Punk apparently meant the Hangman comment as a big goof and feels bad and texted Hangman an apology -Punk was probably maybe not responsible for Hangman not being at the building but there are reports that Hangman wasn't there entirely and wasn't banished or whatever -Punk did confirm to his sheetz that he was responsible for Nemeth getting banished and also maybe Matt Hardy, Isiah Kassidy and Christopher Daniels -TK's official response was a "really great and terrific that everyone is invested" nothing response -Punk got mad at Jack Perry for wanting to do a dangerous glass spot (and Punk camp also had to note that Punk is mad at people taking weeks off or something like that) |

Samoa Joe is there, come on dont erase him  Come to think of it, is there any point in recent years that either of them have referred to the other as friends? They certainly had that vibe in their ROH era shoots, but I don't get that sort of chumminess from either of them anymore (that and I feel like 2023!Punk is incapable of being chummy anyway). Joe does seem like the sort of person who would get sick of Punk's BS though, and it's really no hair off his back if Punk never wants to work with him again because he's Samoa F'n Joe. Now I'm wondering how much of Joe's recent heel promos in Punk's direction have that sort of underlying annoyance to them... I have no doubt that Punk's got an unchecked ego and all that but it's also frustrating that these stories seem to be changing on an hourly basis. That locker room reallllly needs to just shut the f*** up and keep it in house at some points. This is one of those points.
