Looking back the earliest I'm seeing for the Miro brawl is Trevor Dame saying Bryan said it, idk if Trevor's even a sheet writer but between this and saying Keith Lee may be done with AEW he's giving me big "source: my ass" vibes I think Bryan did actually say it though because there's a screen cap a few pages back of an Observer Boards report where Bryan backs it up with "MULTIPLE people told me this story" |

Cornette's take on this utterly ridiculous in parts... his only good point is that Tony Cocaine needs to have some sort of punishment for backstage stuff like this

Danhausen was also liking SRS's tweets about Perry being removed from the arena on Sunday. Also, Danhausen wasn't there (and openly said multiple times that he wasn't gonna be there), so I wouldn't exactly take his word as gospel. |

That said, having enjoyed the Joe and Punk match, I kind of want to go rewatch it knowing what happened just moments before. Shit like the Hogan ear stuff might feel different now. |

If he's really not suspended, I'm back on my "Punk quits completely over some random bullshit around October 2023" prediction. My guess is that he'll probably sometime around Full Gear or Revolution demand to be given the title, Tony will probably give it to him, and then whenever he's due to lose it he'll throw a massive tantrum a week before the PPV and bounce. Punk winning the title and then dipping would do so much damage to the title's prestige. Already happened once. What killed the WCW title's prestige wasn't David Arquette holding it for a week or whatever, it was the multiple title-vacates as everyone who won the title left (Bret, then Benoit) followed by them putting the title on a guy (Sid) who had just lost to one of the guys who left (Benoit) and just recently been squashed by another guy who was out on injury (Goldberg). Then hotshot it around a bit from there and it already had zero prestige before an actor won it. It would also be GROSSLY unfair to MJF after everything MJF has accomplished and done to move AEW forward, to have Punk beat him again and then dip out so Max never gets his win back. |
