HHH: "You know who would be a real great fresh star to finally beat Roman, Karrion Kross! 😀" Apart from Vacant getting another title run, I cannot think of a bigger wet fart of an end to Romans Reign than Mr Carcass beating him. Its going to happen and I can't wait for the reaction of dead silence and dread

Kross being the one to beat Roman wouldn't be the worst thing I like him and Scarlett. Will likely be Cody tho.

Okay, in what way is it more relevant when building towards a future star? Because you really need to elaborate on this. Wrestlers primes can routinely go into their mid to late 40s, so I don’t know what the concern is about building around Cody Rhodes (37 years old) and Sami Zayn (38 years old), while also building even younger guys in the background for when it’s their time to reach the top. Because their actual age is not a concern, that makes TV age more relevant as far as freshening up the main event scene goes. Okay, after this I'm out, because right now all people seem to want to do is misrepresent my point. As I said before, I do not have a problem with Sami or Cody getting the push, my issue is that going with them isn't building a solid foundation for the long term future mainevent any more than sticking with Reigns is. That was the implication against going with the Rock in this thread, that by going with one of them instead was building towards the future, but it's not. Their TV age isn't relevant to this point, it only matters so much as being concerned with replacing one guy with a different one. It's a short term solution.

Austin was on top for about 4 years. Rock was on top for about 4 years. Batista had a run on top for about 5-6 years. Cody and Zayn can likely be prime, full-time wrestlers for at least another 5-8 years (which brings them to around age 45 on the high end).

Yeah, outside the fact that hotshotting someone to the main event rarely works... I don't really get the idea that their big star needs to be someone who is going to be around for 15 years. They've never really had that and when they did, with Cena, nobody liked it.
Much like The Streak, the value in Roman's reign is to break it in the most memorable way possible. It's the end of the movie. Sami, Cody and The Rock would fit that... Bron Breakker doesn't.
