I'd like to see some variety in stages, but I really hope they don't go the route of the overly busy LED-fueled sets and rings of WWE.

I’ll share the sentiment that they need to think outside of the box rather than go the WWE route. Hell, copy the Impact Zone with the long tunnel and the camera as people walk out, you have Jarrett there you might as well.

The Observer confirmed that AEW is going to shake up its aesthetic starting in January and the new producer is going to help with that. Please, god, do not go the WWE route of LED screens everywhere. Anything but that. I don't mind the one they have on the entrance ramp for special shows but that's my limit. I just want something different. It's time to shake wrestling production up a bit.

AEW could stand just a little polish, but one of the non-booking things that really turns me off from WWE is how overly produced it is. Too many LED lights, the ring apron stuff... I'll never forgot groaning when I saw the 3d graphic things on screen when Cody debuted.
WWE production used to be the best because they were absolute perfectionists who rarely if ever made mistakes, and they wanted things to look good.
Now every episode is an assault on the senses like being inside of a Casino.

They're overdue a refresh but if they need inspiration they should look to the bigger Noah shows. Example below.

I don't want WWE's setup, and I doubt that's gonna happen, but I would love if they incorporated the LED Ramp into more shows, I love that thing

With the old Impact Zone setup, heel/face tunnels were on separate ramps on opposite sides of the ring while the heel/face tunnels for AEW share the same ramp.
Though maybe TNA did do it like AEW does now at one point. They've certainly had their share of setup changes.

Every article about this hire was weird because they all had a picture attached to the article and I don't think a single one of them actually had a picture of Mansury attached to it. Some other random person.

If the aesthetic changes are going to be moving towards that big, gaudy ass WWE 'splatter the whole arena in LEDs" that would be a major hit to me. I'm not even the biggest fan of the LED ramp, although it's not the most egregious thing ever.

Rampage having a different set from Dynamite is something I appreciate.

Rampage having a different set from Dynamite is something I appreciate. I wonder how different the two shows will be. They film Rampage after Dynamite quite often, so I can't see the stage set ups being drastically different. They could change the lighting, pyro, apron, and graphics for sure.

Real talk, if they had like, a transformation sequence for the live crowd, that could be the greatest thing ever. (Obviously this is a ridiculous and stupidly expensive idea that will not be done.)
