Rampage having a different set from Dynamite is something I appreciate. I wonder how different the two shows will be. They film Rampage after Dynamite quite often, so I can't see the stage set ups being drastically different. They could change the lighting, pyro, apron, and graphics for sure. Yeah, even something minor like Raw being the 'red' show and Smackdown the 'blue' show helped give each show distinct identities from each other. Outside of the show logo, the aesthetic of both Dynamite and Rampage is near-identical.

Besides audio issues, Mansury goal should be prevent disasters like the Rick Ross segment from last night(Production also made that segment a drag)

They showed the new look on Rampage just now, very red and blue, lots of lasers, and the graphics looked kinda like. 2009 WWE graphics I'd say as my first impression?

I hate quoting Louis Dangoor of all people but this was the minute long commercial they aired during Monday Night Football yesterday.

The red and blue lines do feel a bit "too WWE" to me, but it's just a quick commercial, I'm happy to wait until things actually get revealed and see how it feels after a few weeks.

That's my minor nitpick. Feels like it would be a graphic for Survivor Series during the BRAND WARFARE stuff. Like, it looks nice and clean, but I will have to see it more to give it a chance.

I’d agree with the Red and Blue stuff if Red and Blue weren’t the easiest, most marketable colors going that most people aren’t really going to go “This is like the WWE Premium Live Event I no longer care about until this year”.

Here's what I'll say: it caught my eye. Does it look a little WWE-esque? Yes. But honestly? If the wrestling is the same, the upgraded production will only help things. I've thought the AEW production values, logos, etc. could have used a fresh coat of paint for a year or two.

I mean the only reason it looks "WWE Esque" is because WWE have used the colors Red and Blue for a very long time in their branding
They don't own those colors, and I hope AEW does unique stuff with the new set because the promo looks great, very high quality

I like it if that's the entrance tunnel layout. Vaguely Wrestlemania VIII/Starcade '89 but modernized, kind of my ideal aesthetic for wrestling.

Yeah, I don't mean "WWE-esque" in that they use red and blue, but more just the streamlined "thin stripes of red and blue" minimal look kind of feels like a WWE promo, at least at first.
Like I said, I'm more than willing to actually see the new sets and graphics and let them settle in for a few weeks, first. Frankly more than anything else the biggest thing I want them to get nailed down is mic'ing up the live crowd in a consistent manner.

It aint so much the red and blue that makes this WWE'esq IMO but that that is just overall a very WWE'esc promo , it feels very much what you would see being the opening to Raw.

The laser lights, random posing, the non-descript hip hop. It just feels like a WWE promo. Not a bad thing if they don't overdo it and become super sterile looking, but it does have that look to it. I actually like the promo, to be clear.

I'll take that. A few lasers and lights around are fine compared to the visual onslaught of a million LED screens everywhere.
