Is there even a good answer here? Any company, like Apple, Netflix, Amazon, and others, looking to further consolidate the media landscape by using WWE content I don't want to choose. Saudi Arabia buying WWE would be more sports-washing, so it's out. VKM taking the company private again would suck for so many obvious reasons.
Can WWE be a fan-owned co-op or something?

Shahid Kahn's net worth is 11 billion, a lot of it tied up in other endeavors.
So I guess this is out of the question TK showing up on Raw one day cutting a "I bought WWE" promo I guess eh? Or is it?

The NFL, because putting WWE's production quality together with NFL Films would be god damned legendary.

You don't want Netflix to own WWE because they'd suddenly disband the entire fed after 3 years or so.
I think it says a lot about the late stage capitalist hellscape that is the media industry when Comcast is the least bad of the options presented.

No one. Seriously. Despite their obvious flaws and Vince in particular, As far as I'm concerned anyone not part of the McMahon family actually owning the WWE means that a staple of our lives can cease to exist one day. For better or worse you could depend on WWE always being there. It's a scary reality that I'm honestly not ready to face that WWE as we know it might not be around.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but wouldn't that also make WWE as a company less profitable since they wouldn't get a bunch of money for selling the TV rights to the highest bidder? (same if they're bought by Fox or Netflix or anyone else who already have their own channels)

Only like 19% of their annual revenue comes directly from WWE fans.

I suppose it'd work for Comcast because they keep paying WWE a big slice of that remaining 81% of their revenue, so why not just cut to the chase and bring the entire thing in-house and figure out new ways to leverage the stuff that comes with it?

I do think that it'd actually probably turn the company into a massive money pit if Comcast bought them. That's a ton of TV rights and Peacock money not coming in anymore, and any costs they pay as-is aren't going to be as offset as they could be because they'd also be out the money coming in from Fox.
There'd still be international deals and the like, and the company's other monetary streams, but I highly doubt WWE would remain profitable if it was being operated entirely in-house without absolutely massive budgetary cuts.
That said Comcast are no strangers to dumping absurd amounts of money into projects that are never, ever going to pay off - hell, that's a big part of why WWE has the Peacock deal to begin with - so I could see them buying the company anyway.

If you spend 9 billion dollars on a company and let Vince McMahon be in charge of it, I do not care what Schwarzenegger says, it IS a tumor.

(same if they're bought by Fox or Netflix or anyone else who already have their own channels) It cuts out the cost of TV rights fees for the media company like NBC or FOX. Right now, WWE sells its content to entities like FOX or NBC for over 700 million dollars per year. If NBC bought the company, they’d no longer pay any of those rights fees and instead would just have to pay to run the company and would collect money through advertisers, subscriptions, ticket sales, etc.
