The whole DiBiase Posse thing was so weird since it was, like, so easy to turn that into, like, an actual thing - just throw some random parties, film them, have people showing up to pick fights or whatever - and make it a gimmick that might've at least had a chance of catching on and instead it was pretty much entirely something they would just tell you about.

Speaking of weird soundtrack choices I am incredibly disappointed to find that the NBC recap of Mania 27 where Taker came out to a Katy Perry song was in mid-2011 rather than in the run-up to Mania 28.

It would have cost literally nothing to just film this dude being a deadbeat in the parking lot too 

Shoutouts to the ending of Belly where Nas goes to Africa but they weren't even trying to spend the money to film in Africa so they just showed Time's Square while Nas narrates like I'M IN AFRICA THIS IS SO AWESOME

2009 was another "f*** this if I'm gonna watch something wrestling it'll be TNA" type year for me where I still know most of the significant stuff that happened so it's honestly a great candidate. There's also an absurd amount of Guest Hosts that did absolutely awful but not as like entertainingly awful as Jeremy Piven short circuiting himself in to a Summerfest.
