What are some movies that could be considered combinations of action/adventure and horror? The first two that come to mind are Aliens and Predator. I guess you could throw in Zombie movies that involve killing zombies as well.

The "Underworlds", "Van Hellsing" and the like. You could argue "Terminator" is a slasher and so are many of its copycats. The "Blade" trilogy might fit. Maybe my personal favorite: "End of Days", the last great Arnold vehicle in my book. Although it's not actually great.

Predator and Prey for sure.
Train to Busan is pretty action packed too.

From the third movie onward I'd say The Purge leans as much action as horror.

The Resident Evil movies were my first thought, for better or worse.

If you consider creature features to be horror movies, Brotherhood Of The Wolf has some spectacular martial arts fights in between the beast's attacks.

The first Brendon Frasier Mummy is IMO the rare film that juggles action/adventure, a little bit of horror, and comedy better than it probably should. The sequels... not so much.

From the third movie onward I'd say The Purge leans as much action as horror. I'd say the second one as well... it's certainly the best Punisher movie out there... I would like to add "Silent Rage", the 1982 slasher movie starring Chuck Norris. Yeah, Chuck Norris vs. Michael Myers.

Ninja III: The Domination - the third installment in the loosely-connected trilogy that started with Enter the Ninja and continued with Revenge of the Ninja. There's no continuity between the movies in the series other than Sho Kosugi playing a ninja in all of them. The third movie veers into supernatural territory, being about an ordinary woman who gets possessed by the spirit of a slain ninja and begins killing the police officers responsible for his death one-by-one like a slasher movie villain.

I'm surprised no one brought up Aliens. This is kind of the go to answer for this.

Hobo With A Shotgun? I mean the supernatural horrory stuff doesn't really appear till the end, when The Plague turn up. Side note I kinda want a movie just about the Plague

Side note I kinda want a movie just about the Plague The content is extreme enough I'd definitely say it's at least got horror elements. I too would love a movie about The Plague. Or a proper sequel. Or just a similar film from the same team.
