I'm grateful that at least AEW isn't part of a clusterf*** of corporate ownership. The only endeavor here is each time TK makes his monthly big announcements.

Can't think what's inspired me to say this, but AEW doesn't try to piss me off. Even if I don't agree with results, it never makes me angry TK wouldn't fumble the ball. WWE had two bona-fide main eventers in the wings and sacrifices them to Roman it makes no sense

They've had results that have made me angry - hell, Supercard of Honor this past Friday had two in one show. But I never feel like AEW is booking things simply so they can catch my sad reaction on camera. Nor are they altering booking plans simply for the sake of swerving the audience. And even if they are enamored with certain heels, I know that eventually said heels will get their comeuppance.

Without reading through 5 pages, here’s why I love AEW
-it has given me a chance to see many performers that I probably never would have seen otherwise: good, bad or indifferent, I’m still excited every time I see a new talent
-two of my all-time favorites have gotten a chance to finish their careers on their own terms thanks to AEW, with Christian and Sting
-MJF, Jungle Boy, Jon Moxley, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, Kenny Omega, Hangman, American Dragon, Claudio are personal highlights for me
-I feel like WWE is better because of AEW, since competition leads to creativity
I’m not the biggest fan of AEW’s storytelling or even match style, but I appreciate what it has done for wrestling in the US

TK doesn't always make decisions I agree with, but I never feel like he books things because he absolutely loathes his audience. Like, the closest he's ever come to "eat shit and die, I've got your money already" is maybe him kind of putting Warhorse in no win situations the two times he's booked him, which came off as less spite and more "I genuinely do not understand this gimmick", which also applies to Danhausen initially.

And TK booking his heels to win isn't from a "f*** you and your enjoyment" standpoint. It's usually to build them up so they can be toppled by whoever's being booked to be the top hero of the company.

I didn't mention it previously but I like that there are always a number of interesting stories going on.
Sometimes they even overlap in fun ways. They don't all hit the mark but I'll take it over E's one and only storyline of importance (Roman)

Love is a strong word but I have figures, the replica belt, and other merchandise and also tune in to the tv shows weekly and the appeal to me is simply that it is a viable alternative. I was big on the early years of TNA for this same situation and there is a whole hell of a lot I do not like regarding the direction and decisions in AEW but I will be forever grateful for their existence and by extension Khan's.
Just because something isn't for me doesn't mean it isn't for others and that is something that alot of bitter fans are coming to terms with.

AEW doesn’t consider predictability to be a bad thing on the odd occasion you can see how they’re gonna pay something off.

I was so salty when that happened, but then it came out that the whole reason that happened was so Hangman could take his paternity leave. I couldn't even be mad. Made it all the sweeter when he won.
Honestly, to be so mad about the kayfabe, it was just wholesome all around. Kenny was clearly hurting but kept the belt and waited despite that just so his friend could have some time with his child.

Punk’s arrival and bringing in Danielson and Adam Cole helped offset the disappointment of Hangman and Dark Order’s loss.

That was my thought about it as well. When I found out he wanted to have paternity leave with his newborn son, I was like, "Oh, okay. That makes perfect sense. We can wait for you, Hangman. Go have some quality time with your son." And we got the ending to the story later that year anyway. So it reached a fulfilling conclusion. Plus, we got another amazing Lower Third for Hangman when he returned for the Casino Ladder Match. "Finally Showed Up for Work." I was dead from the LOLZ.
