Someone mentioned Cocaine Bear being Ray Liotta's last movie. What are some other infamous last performances?

Would not call it a bad way because he was amazing in it but first thing that came to mind was Raul Julia in the Street Fighter movie.

Bob Clark's last directing job was Baby Geniuses 2, no? Henry Mancini going out with the Tic Tac Dough '90 theme.

John Belushi's final movie was Neighbors, which featured Belushi and Dan Akroyd switching their usual roles in their two-man act with Belushi acting as straight man to Akroyd's obnoxious wildman. While not bad, it is incredibly middling and forgettable.
Chris Farley's last movie was Almost Heroes, where he plays a boorish frontiersman explorer in the early 1800's forming a Lewis & Clark-esque team alongside a foppish Matthew Perry. It was never going to be a critical success, but it might have developed a cult following like some of Farley's other movies if Perry had brought anything to the table and Farley wasn't just completely phoning in his normal yelling, fat man routine.
This happened twice to John Candy. The last film he recorded that he starred in was the critically panned Wagons East. Then, later that year, the previously unreleased movie, Canadian Bacon, finally saw the light of day after sitting on a shelf for two years, and it was equally critically panned, although I understand it's developed something of a cult following since.

Sean Connery has The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen as his last live action movie and Sir Billi as his last animated movie and both are panned

Gene Hackman deciding that Welcome to Mooseport would be his movie swan song will always make me shake my head. Granted he's still alive, but at 93 years old, I don't think any other film roles are coming his way.

Wasnt Sherman Helmsley's final film one of those American Pie direct to video sequels? As for Farley, technically his final film (at least released) was Dirty Work, which DID get a cult following at least.

If we’re sticking strictly to movies, Joan Crawford in Trog (1970)

The final film of Donald Pleasance was Halloween 6, which was during that terrible cult storyline.

Almost Heroes is such an irritating movie to me, because it COULD have been good, and there are little peeks of it sprinkled throughout the movie. The "Bent Twig" scene is hilarious, and anytime you can tell that Farley actually IS trying is great, but those are few and far between.

Brittany Murphy’s final role before her tragic death was a shitty tv movie called “MegaFault” which was about a sentient fault line or something.
There was also two movies she was in that were released post her death.

Someone mentioned Cocaine Bear being Ray Liotta's last movie. What are some other infamous last performances? If I had the option to go out in a Best Picture winner or a movie where a bear does cocaine… well…I know how I’d want to go out…it’s not particularly close. it’s a BEAR ON COCAINE

Oh, how could I forget.
He is not dead yet. But director Martin Brest had a pretty respectable career going. He directed Going In Style, Beverly Hills Cop, Midnight Run (which is awesome IMO), Scent of a Woman and Meet Joe Black..
Then he directed Gigli and has not had a movie or tv credit since.. He have have done commercials and or music videos though (imdb don't list those).

Burgess Meredith's last performance was in an FMV game called Ripper, which actually had a pretty solid cast.

Orson Welles had no love for his final performance, as the voice of Unicron in Transformers the Movie.
He was wrong, that was an excellent film and he's brilliant in it, but still

Orson Welles in Transformers is a good pull. Not a bad movie or role at all, but just bizarre that a legendary figure like Orson Welles has his last role in what was essentially a glorified toy commercial.
