While I was mulling over my list I was definitely having a moment of, "Man, I didn't realize just how many absolutely terrible matches Randy Orton has had." One that came up while I was studying others' worst-of lists for each given year trying to refresh myself a bit, though I didn't go with it because I haven't seen it, was the Punjabi Prison with Jinder and it's like, yeah, that was probably horrendous. Feel like another one you absolutely could go with is Orton / Alexa though personally I kind of enjoyed that one.

Orton is a wild case of a main event talent that someone could love and rave about, with another deeply unimpressed and lambasting him, and I'd come away agreeing with both of them.

I dont have the patience to organize all the matches I disliked
But I expected the result to be a mix of Roman/Lesnar/Fiend(and I guess by proxy Goldberg) matches.

Undertaker/Shane at Wrestlemania 32 is by far my least favorite match of all time. Seeing Shane go toe to toe with Undertaker for 30 whole minutes and being booked like such a badass, kicking out of chokeslams/last rides and powering out of the hell's gate before applying his own shitty submissions which Taker had to sell for. He was booked stronger than actual big time main event wrestlers. In kayfabe he basically put up more of a fight than almost all of Undertaker's Wrestlemania opponents and in the end basically beat himself with the dive off the cell.
And the fact we got that instead of Taker/Cena or Taker/Sting that year just makes me hate it even more. I'll give them a pass on Sting. He got injured in the Seth match. But Cena said in an interview a bit later that he was cleared in time for Wrestlemania but Vince decided to just use him in the Rock/Wyatt segment. It could easily have been Cena w/Shane v Taker w/Vince and if Taker went half an hour with Shane he was obviously capable of an actual match with Cena compared to the 3 minute thing we got in 2018 when he was just too far gone to do anything.

This was really tough to edit down to 10, especially in the 10-5 segment of the list. Going by memory so I may have misplaced a few here or there. I also made this before reading any of the replies. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} 10. Lash Legend/Nikkita Lyons (NXT 4/26/22)
9. Lucha House Party/Lars Sullivan (Super Showdown '19)
8. Bayley/Alexa (Extreme Rules '17)
7. The Miz/Damian Priest (Wrestlemania Backlash '21)
6. 2014 Royal Rumble Match
5. Bray Wyatt/Braun Strowman (The Horror Show at Extreme Rules)
4. DX/Brothers of Destruction (Crown Jewel '18)
3. Goldberg/Undertaker (Super Showdown '19)
2. McAfee/McMahon (WM38)
1. Rollins/Fiend (HIAC '19)
Honorable mentions: HHH/Roman WM32, Nia/Charlotte Raw 8/31/21, Nia/Lana "MY HOLE" Raw 2/8/21, Brock/Kofi Smackdown Fox Debut, Orton/Mahal Punjabi Prison Battleground '17, Orton/Bryan Battleground '13, Sting/HHH WM31, Roman/Brock WM34, Roman/Taker WM33, Taker/Brock WM30 Additionally, I wish I would have nominated each of the 2014-2016 Rumbles as all three of them pissed me off equally. I couldn't decide between them.

Reminder, another week to go on this one, though trying to check the results thus far right this minute is causing Google to badly glitch out so I have no idea how many responses there've been. Don't know if that's a me thing or a Google is down thing but either way, feels due for a reminder.

Could have done a list entirely made of Brock matches.
Wow I'd forgotten about Bayley vs Alexa, glad Bayley has recovered since those dark days even if I don't get to see it.
That did mean that somehow Brothers of destruction vs DX didn't make my list which suprised me. HBK's performence and it being funny did enough to keep it out the top 10.

Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss (Extreme Rules 2017): That entire feud did so much damage to Bayley as a babyface character. And her basically getting squashed here, and looking like a weak idiot in the process, was just the final nail in the coffin.
Triple H vs. Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 32): It was a match no one wanted, everyone knew the guy they didn’t want was going to win. The show was too long and not very good. And the match was like a freaking half hour long. Just a miserable slog overall.
Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair (Roadblock 2016): Having the babyface tap out clean with 2 seconds left in an Iron Woman match she was about to win. Then tap out again in overtime to lose so the heel can make the valiant comeback. Backwards ass booking. And it was one of the most egregious examples of WWE sacrificing over stars to make their golden girl Charlotte look better. And all these years later, it’s still happening.
The Undertaker vs. Goldberg (Super ShowDown 2019): This match was both sad to watch, and also terrifying. These two old men almost killed each other in the ring and it just showed how they both had little left in the tank.
Seth Rollins vs. The Fiend (HIAC 2019): This match was a disaster on every level.

Three days left to get results in. Only eight people've responded so far so might want to start committing to something if you want to take part, still a lot of room to reshape how things come out. Actually pretty much a tossup right now which match is going to be #1.

I understand your grievance about the ending, but that match was still very interesting, with callbacks not only to their feud throughout the year but even to their 2014 R-Evolution match. I do think ending the feud on a more technical match was something they learned from for the 2018 Charlotte/Becky feud, where they did the technical match earlier at HIAC and built up to the full-fledged hardcore LWS match at Evolution.

No uptick in replies since the last notice. We don't get at least a few more in I'll probably just post the results without bothering to watch the matches, without a range of replies it kind of takes the fun out of it.

DX v Brothers of Destruction wins this for me simply because HBK came back for such a terrible match. I like to pretend it doesn’t exist.
Undertaker v Goldberg and that Seth v Rey eye nonsense are close though.

Sorry, I couldn't really contribute to this one as, while I've seen many terrible WWE matches, I tend to blur them out of my memory ASAP, and didn't have time to trawl through them to memory jog. (And just picking famous bad ones felt lazy.)
