I'm going 10 - one of the best PPVs I've ever seen.

9.5/10:
Jericho vs. Starks was very good. And kudos to Jericho for putting Ricky over here. Hopefully Ricky is in line for a big push now.
Christian vs. Jungle Boy was awesome. These two really sold like they HATED each other and wanted to kill each other. Even JB’s mom and sister were entertaining. And it had a perfect finish as well.
The Trios match was also great. The right team one, Nick Jackson is dead. And even Julia Hart took that V-Trigger like a champ.
The Women’s Match. Here is where my one BIG issue with the show comes in. I did like the match, but I HATE Ruby’s heel turn. They spent months making her sympathetic against TayJay. Made her look like a badass in that street fight, made the team with Willow cool, etc. just to then turn her heel because, ex-WWE. What a waste. I REALLY don’t like This story at all.
Thankfully the show picked up again after that. Wardlow vs. Joe was fun and I look forward to seeing Wardlow vs. Hobbs on Wednesday.
Moxley vs. Hangman was a war in the best possible way. These two brutalized each other like it was a 90’s FMW match. And Mox tapping out was a cool surprise. Hangman needs a big push after this.
The Tag Title match was a bunch of fun nonsense. And FTR’s return was cool.
The ME was fantastic. MJF proved something tonight and Danielson was his usual badass self.
All in all, GREAT show.

High, high 9.
Couple of things I didn't like, but it all feels pretty inconsequential compared to how much of the show f***ing ruled. The casket match, trios match, Texas death match and iron man match were all insanely good.
Also one full point for Christian's sleeveless battle turtleneck.

Had two five star matches on it, and then multiple four star matches on top of that
I can't rate it anything else but a 10, it was a fantastic show

I gave it a 9.
There wasn't a bad match on the card. The tag match was kinda there, but the card needed a lighter match to help with the pacing and prevent burnout. I'm not as high on the Iron Man match as most seem to be but that's a me thing (I wasn't as high on the Danielson/Hangman hour-long matches as most were either)

I went 9.
Personally, I want this company for now built around Danielson, the best wrestler in the f***ing world, and not some cringey edgelord whose promos have fell off a cliff. Credit where it’s due, MJF is that guy in ring, but they’ve gotta get him an editor or something. He’s been all over the place in this build. I recognize that’s just me.
Everything else mostly rocked. Wardlow is a bit of a miss for me right now but hopefully they build him back. Starks got his big win, Hangman is back on track and it was a good show. Might even be AEW’s best PPV ever.

Easy 10 for me. Honestly show was almost too stacked... may have been best all around ppv AEW has done to date.
I know people aren't gonna like Ruby turning or the Gunns retaining, but I've been calling Ruby turning for a big multi women match at a big show and FTR/Gunns being when FTR gets the belts back for a while (heck I predicted when THe Firm formed the Gunns would beat the Acclaimed for the belts).
The only match that maybe didn't hit was the Wardlow/Joe match which had to follow the Texas Deathmatch. Maybe the tag match cause Danhausen got pinned but it was a good fun comedy match that kept the crowd invested which to me, keeps me from crapping on it too much (and I also think the Ass Boys get way too much hate)
Some won't like Danielson losing, but don't think he was ever gonna win tonight. Feud didn't always click but especially tonight the point was to continue to make MJF look like the biggest bastard.
A lot of good for AEW to build off of, and if I'm them I'm building Double or Nothing as MJF vs Page

Loved the Trios match and love House of Black going over clean
Main event was an easy 5 stars. Easily my favorite iron man match ever
Couldn't get into the casket match and honestly I thought the death match had some stupid spots. Hitting each other with bricks? They're either not real bricks or you're not hitting each other very hard, because they would literally be murdering each other.
Everything else just kind of happened. Still a 9 for that main event though

I will honestly say that show is going to be hard to top as PPVs go this. Not a bad match to be had. I personally believe the right people won, yes even The Gunn Club, but it made sense they won since FTR came back. But yeah; that was a 10 PPV. No doubt about it.

This PPV had one of the weaker builds during one of the colder times in AEW’s entire history.
Going by this board’s poll, a lot of people weren’t even planning on buying it or, at the very least, expected it to be subpar.
I think it may well have been the best PPV from top to bottom AEW has ever produced. It was as well over and structured a pro wrestling show as I’ve ever watched, and there were at least 2, maybe 3, bona fide 5 star matches. I am as frustrated as others that the Gunns are still the tag champs, and that the main event ended the way that it did, but it all made sense in the narrative to me.
So, yeah, easy 10.

I'll slap a 9 on it
Everything delivered. Only downsides for me were the finish to the main event and the women's match could have been better. Overall I enjoyed it though

9. It could be a 10. It should be a 10. But man the Gunns retaining is never going to make me care and it's not even that I'm salty Danielson lost, I just think they went way too hard on the false finishes and hope spots if it was just going to end with him losing anyway. Just narratively exhausting.

Easy 10. It wasn’t without things I would have changed, but you aren’t ever going to find a wrestling show that beats it.

Joe/Wardlow was a cool down and the tag title match was meh, Gunns just aren't going to do it for me. Everything else was EXCELLENT even Saraya brought it. I think this may be AEW's best PPV

While I can't say it was a perfect show, I'm gonna go for a 10 because what I enjoyed I really enjoyed.
Good things: - RJ City makes the preshow a delight, I heard they had a match as well which I didn't watch. - Starks/Jericho was a decent match, and right guy went over. Nothing spectacular but good hot opener. - Final Burial was a lot of fun, big feel of the old video game Buried Alive matches, Perry getting his revenge was great and I laughed so much at the slamming of the casket followed by it just DROPPING a few seconds later, the Elite might have the Supernatural music but guess Cage is in superhell now. - Women's match was decent, we've got more out of one on one matches before but Hayter stays champ which I'm fine with. - Elite/HOB was a great sprint type match, loved seeing Buddy and Kenny finally facing off, full Mortal Kombat mirror match stuff. Everyone played their roles to perfection, the final knee looked brutal, and the House as champs is a great decision. - Hangman/Mox was a 5 star for me. Unique spots, hard hitting, and what a finish. Having Mox tap out even in the face of mortal peril puts Page over huge, and it really feels like this did a lot to rebuild him in the post-Punk AEW ecosystem. Both men always deliver in Deathmatches, and this was no exception. - Wardlow/Joe was again, just fine. Good to break things up, and looking forward to Wardlow/Hobbs. - Main event was the best Iron Man match I've ever seen. Thought all the falls made perfect sense and bit on so many false finishes. Things like the running tombstone looked brutal, and I quite liked the eventual finish even if I was hoping Danielson would win. MJF proved himself as champion, if he can just refine his character to the things he does well and be less edgelordy then we'll be in for some good stuff to come. - Overall real focus on the next gen of AEW beating the more established stars. A revolution indeed.
Only downsides for me: - Didn't really like the tag match. Having something more comedy oriented to break up the more heavy matches was a good move, but I don't think you needed Jarrett/Lethal there, and the Gunns are still all kinds of meh. - Any time they replace Hangman's theme (outside that 5v5 match with the enhanced version) it feels like a downgrade. - Ruby joining the L-WO was a bit of a disappointment.

9. Really fun with great matches, but 10's are for a perfect show and it didn't end on the right note for me to warrant that.
I wanted Bryan to win (tbh so did most here and in the crowd) but would have been satisfied if the final fall was clean. Story was all over the place from the build but what did the match service? We know MJF can work 60 minutes and is a great talent. That's not a story. The story that was told is he can cheat for 60 minutes and then some more ... okay? No one doubted he could cheat. He didn't level up or show a different side. The work in the match was great, I'll commend it - the way I'd commend great cinematography or acting on a film that doesn't flow.

10/10 bleeding Mox's.
Best PPV in a while. Even the weakest match(Wardlow/Joe) was still pretty good.
Wish Danielson went over, but it is what it is.
