Should have been the name from the jump to be honest.

Definitely a better name, though no clue what on earth that had to do with Shazam.

I honestly don’t get how it’s changed it’s name “in honor of the release of Shazam”

Interesting. I got used to All-Atlantic but thought it was weird at first. I wonder if the belt design changes too?

Something in the Shazam movie must happen for this to make sense, I think what Tony was trying to get across is Shazam is all about change and "leveling up" since it's a kid who turns into a Superman type, so the title changing is its own makeover
Either way, it's a good move, better sounding name overall

With the name change, I think it's the right time to let it be the traveling belt. Maybe even let someone from NJPW win it.

Also pretty sure, this call was made by TNT. I'd have it be a traveling belt, but I still think the title needs to go to Swerve next.

Yeah, thought that idea behind was to be a gatekeeper’s travelling belt but it’s been a more traditional 3rd tier title since OC took it.

"International Championship" is a MUCH better name than "All-Atlantic Championship."

Meh it's still the same belt to me. The name means nothing.

They should have played International love by Pitbull and Chris Brown for the announcement.

Meh it's still the same belt to me. The name means nothing. Oh I had gotten used to the name, I just think it helps it as an overall brand, I like International on a title. As a belt, it didn't matter if the name changed at this point with how good OC's reign has been to me... but I like it.

Well, it's no longer the AAC, which was a name that gave me joy for super specific "I was in an e-fed when I was 12" reasons, but this is just...a better name. Straight up. All-Atlantic was head-tilting when it was announced, and while it sounds nice, it invites the question of its meaning, while "International" says it in one word.

Not to mention they had the initial championship tournament contested by people from countries nowhere near the Atlantic Ocean like Australia and Japan.

Changing a title (even if that in itself is a good move) just to tie in with some movie is some WWE shit
