I will never forget people trying to insist that "all-atlantic" was a real term and the name made sense From a wrasslin standpoint I thought it did, I also liked the AAC acronym But this is definitely just an overall improvement. Id if Tony decided on it or someone pitched it to him and he gave in but props. It helps a belt that's got a lot of momentum come off even better All-Atlantic was a great name but the issue is it made no sense. What I'd like to see is AEW maybe doing something like the 'All-Atlantic Cup' next time they swing through somewhere more geographically appropriate. Either mid-atlantic or something with stage 1 in NYC and stage 2 in london

What other choice TK had? If he did the opposite then he wouldve done the same fk ups Dixie did with Spike TV and Destination America.

Warner Discovery wanted it to be the Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury Championship

Thanks for explaining, I watched the same segment you did. Still think it's like something WWE would do Well that's fair, I guess you wanna keep the brands happy. No wrestling company is really excluded from this when it comes to corporate synergy At least it's not Miz and Priest getting eaten by Zombies for a random Snyder film that had Batista in it, or TNA's enormous ring ads or when Anthem first brought them and had that owl everywhere... Nothing will top Bound for glory brought to you by Kamba.com or whatever it was called. Wwe usually condenses all its shilling to one segment that they can easily ignore or cut out. TNA plastered it all over their show and had to plug it every five minutes

I get why he did it and I agree it's for the best he keep the network happy, but I don't think saying "Nah I'm gonna keep my title branding the way it is" is even ten levels within reach of the sort of stuff Dixie Carter did. That's just drramaticallyt underselling how everything Dixie did with the networks was a show of open contempt and refusal to cooperate.

So what acronym do we use for this new name.
The IN Title, the I Title?

It's smart to go along with something stupid but relatively harmless like this, builds credit and makes him look more reasonable if he ever has to refuse something truly awful.

Yeah... remember Dixie called the network heads f***ing stupid... in an email that the Network heads were on. secretly hired Vince Russo when the Network flat out told them under no condition should he work for them again... heavily advertised getting powerbombed through a table despite the network's consistent branding of NO MAN ON WOMAN VIOLENCE ALLOWED PERIOD... the list goes on and on about all the stupid shit Dixie did to piss of every network TNA was on.

Yeeeeeeah, while I doubt Tony Khan really gave a crap about changing the name of a title that's less than a year old, even if he'd have pushed back, he's got a looooong way to go before touching Dixie Carter levels of screw up.
You can say a lot about Tony Khan that isn't good, but the guy is definitely not the attention whore that Dixie is. He practically looks like a deer in the headlights who'd rather be shot than be in front of a camera, and Dixie just couldn't stay away from it.

It's going to take some nuclear levels of f***ery to approach what Dixie did to Billy Corgan. I know we don't like Billy much around these parts, but still...

Lest we forget the time TNA did the "IT HAPPENS" angle by promoting the Dixie powerbomb through a table as "the footage THEY don't want you to see!" when Spike literally didn't want them to air it and it pissed them off so much it basically ruined any relationship they still had... yeah Khan's never gonna be that stupid, almost no one is lol

Are International Objects encouraged during title matches, or just allowed?

I don’t know how Shazam having a sequel leads to the rebrand
Name is fine, how we got there was stupid

They should've tied into Shazam by having the belt get struck by lightning and transform.
