I got the vibe they lost interest in her pretty quickly and that continued no matter who was booking her in NXT

One more nail in the coffin of WWE ever pulling off a "NXT Japan" like they want, but then again, maybe they've already faced the reality on that.

Sucks, she's one of the best and I wanted to see her succeed and show that off more where she obviously wanted to, but the plus side is she'll go back to having bangers with awesome opponents. Hope she still does Sead and other promotions.
Her Japan return match looks to be a self-produce show on May 16th. That would still put her possibly as KAIRI's mystery guest for Stardom in April if she's not actually wrestling, although I have my doubts there.

Even without Vince writing the show, WWE truly cannot handle more than one or two Japanese stars at a time, huh?

Sarray taking Chase U through her transformation portal is still one of my favorite NXT moments:

Can't say I'm surprised sadly, they just didn't seem to either know what to do with her or just lost interest quickly. Shame really I'd have liked to have seen more of her on NXT but good luck to her going forward in Japan.

Maybe Shinsuke goes next?
I swear he wasn't injured. Worked in Japan. Didn't do Rumble. And has nothing for Wrestlemania.

all of a sudden, her abrupt exclusion in WWE 2K23 despite making it in last game as DLC makes a bit more sense.

Really too bad but it felt like she got lost in the shuffle quickly.

Not really surprised they never seemed to figure out what they wanted for Sarray. I like her and she's good... but for some reason they just couldn't figure out what to do. Maybe Shinsuke goes next? I swear he wasn't injured. Worked in Japan. Didn't do Rumble. And has nothing for Wrestlemania. I've been kind of assuming they're keeping him off so they can bring him back at a higher level when there's an opening, since Triple H always seemed high on him. he's also made it clear that his time in hte WWE is so he can make money, wind down his career, and surf.

I mean, she was kinda DOA with that cheesy magical girl gimmick. I'm sure it CAN work, but WWE is not the organization I trust to try it.

I got the vibe they lost interest in her pretty quickly and that continued no matter who was booking her in NXT Word is that HBK didn't really like her and saw her as a flop and someone who has no future, I guess.

Shame it didn't work out in WWE, but at least now there's closure and a return date for her to return to wrestling.

I had a bad feeling when in her debut match, they cared more about Zoey Stark than her, and that has carried through since.
If I were AEW I'd look into having her on a few shows if they could, huge dropped ball on WWE's part, and completely baffling that it almost felt like they didn't even try with one of, at the time they got her, the best women's wrestlers out there

Sarray being a foreign exchange student with Chase U wrote itself and they did nothing

Maybe Shinsuke goes next? I swear he wasn't injured. Worked in Japan. Didn't do Rumble. And has nothing for Wrestlemania. Out of sight out of mind so it’s a shock when he attacks Cody on the Raw after WM. A credible first defense for Cody at Backlash, the match will be good and no rematch as Roman needs to take time off to solve his overexposure problem (probably fancies a vacation too) also Cody/Reigns 2 is bigger money if saved for 2024.
