There is a massive difference between people agreeing that Shawn (or whoever) dropped the ball on a talent, and the kind of stuff you're saying. You're making giant leaps with your accusations and heavily implying that this all comes down to racism, which is completely ridiculous. Shawn has been around NXT a long time now, and there has never once been any implications from any talent or from a booking standpoint to back up the nonsense you're spewing. Hell, has anyone ever accused Shawn of being racist? Like, this is a dude who has a very shitty history behind him, and claims of all kinds against him, but I don't ever recall racism being one of them. In fact, by Googling the phrase "Shawn Michaels racism", all I can find is a report from 3 years ago where he got into an argument with another producer over BLM, which Shawn was on the pro side of. This company, and even Shawn-lead NXT, have dropped the ball on countless talents over the years of every gender, race, religion, whatever. This is just one of those times, paired with a TON of bad luck. It sucks, sorry you didn't get what you wanted from someone you're obviously a fan of, but your anger is seriously misplaced. Sorry, but I'm not giving the benefit of the doubt to a man who booked Io and Zoey in a sushi segment, put Kushida and Jiro together in a tag team meant to make fun of Japanese tropes, and made Sarray into a magical schoolgirl. Once might be an accident or insensitive. Multiple times is a problem. And I don't think its a coincidence that the vast majority of Japanese stars in NXT started being treated like jokes (or taken off of TV entirely) once he took control of creative. I'll even go one further. No Japanese wrestler should sign with WWE as long as HBK is in charge of NXT creative. Alright man, no reason to carry this on further. You're reaching as far as you can to turn this into something it's not, and I don't care to be a part of your bizarre ride. Drink some water and get some fresh air, please.

Totally expected news.
We still have the mistery of Boa, the chinese guy, Xia li partner in Tian Sha. His last match was on January 2022 and he hasn't been seen at the PC since last summer.

Not everyone with talent will succeed. While that's true, they also have to try with said talent like... at all, and they really didn't, from match one they were pushing Zoey Stark more than her.

Currently it looks like it was the right call due to how much she improved but still didn't give one of the best workers in your women's division nothing. They dropped the ball big time.

Oh I'm not saying they weren't right to care about Stark, but Sarray should have stomped her at that time, and it was a competitive back and forth 12 minute match where they praised Stark more than the alleged sensation that was gonna come in and change the game... and from them on it was very clear they immediately went "Nope" and didn't really care to try again It's really not a ringing endorsement for any Joshi talent that would consider a WWE run. It's a good thing Sarray is only 26 and they didn't waste her prime years though.

Oh yeah I agree the program they worked for Stark semi worked to get her over and Sarray did help get Stratton over but they couldn't get a good run for Sarray? Those stupid gimmicks they gave her were embarrassing to watch.

This situation does make me wonder if Roddy is getting the same "keep them off TV until their contract expires" treatment. I know he has an injury last year but it's been really quiet on what kind it was and the lack of reporting usually means something else is going on. He requested his release before and even with the new regime, he may not see a future there/prefers to work in AEW with his friends & wife.

Sarray was touted as a big deal and it felt like they were flat on her from the start No hate towards Stark, I think she's awesome and she deserves the hype

Sarray is such a class act who deserves a great future, she has an incredible likeable aura to her so i hope she finds all the succeess and happiness in her career as she really deserves so much better then what she got yet. Wouldnt be surprised if Meiko goes back to, WWE just isnt the place for Joshi or Japanese talent in general at all.

Doesn't Meiko live in the UK?
That was why she was based at NXT UK rather than anywhere else under the WWE umbrella - cos she could literally go home at night?

The change of NXT to focusing on developing homegrown talent absolutely hurt Sarray.
I dunno if I feel comfortable calling racism, but I do think that Asuska and Nakamura are more the exception than the norm when it comes to Puro/Jushi wrestlers in WWE (I want to include Iyo but I need to see it on the main roster). Asuska and Nakamura just have so much charisma that they can get around anything considered shortcomings (mainly language). While things have changed a bit, it does still feel like there's a stigma that if creative doesn't feel they can hand you a mic that you just aren't worth the time.
Of course, if WWE is serious about letting their developmental work limited indy bookings, if they want to sign more international talent it would be a good idea to allow those talent to work those indy dates. Before Takashita signed full time with AEW, when he was on his previous excursions he worked every indy he could

She's a Freelancer now? Does this mean we're going to be seeing her spray painting people in AEW?
