I'm honestly surprised we haven't heard more dirt about Roman/Heyman making power plays or throwing around their political weight over the last year or two.

This is exactly where I am at the moment. Part of me still thinks the Triple Threat is in play, but that part of me also realizes that's likely not the case. As much as I hate it, a much larger part of me is almost accepting the fact that they're going to live with the boos, or however it was phrased in that Twitter thread, and push ahead with Rock-Reigns. And while that totally sucks, at least it'll give us the humor and inevitable memes of The Rock making his boo-boo pissy face when the crowd is relentlessly booing him over the next two months.

If nothing else I can certainly find some schadenfreude in the fact a match I never at all understood the appeal of and kind of instantly from the mere idea of it put in the category of, "I will never, ever watch this match," is being as universally shit on as I've long felt about it. The fact it's happened through Rock so blatantly showing his ass is also pretty amusing.

I think Dwayne is going through the Ronda Rousey process, at the moment. They both just kept winning at everything they did and it seemed effortless. Then they metaphorically or literally get knocked down and turn into shocked Pikachu

I really do believe Cody should go after Gunther. The Seth story is played out and has no good outcome. It elevates the Intercontinental Title a ton. Cody can accomplish something pretty damn significant that adds to his legacy while not detracting from his end goal. It gives Gunther a gigantic match. And Cody/Gunther have history from their Rumble matches that hasn't yet been resolved with a real match yet.

Especially since the one positive (Cody winning the Rumble and presumably going to challenge Roman) has been destroyed like a (brahma) bull in a China shop.
