I think the Rundown is the only Rock movie I've seen in theaters and I think the only other ones I've seen period are Pain & Gain and Be Cool. For the good of all of humanity I have to assume Be Cool is his worst movie. I have to assume it is THE worst movie. Be Cool had no right being that unfunny with such a stacked cast. For years that was the only Rock movie I'd seen other than The Rundown and oof. Even though it's been 15 years I still recall walking out of the cinema and me and my friends being almost dumfounded at how boring it was. That era had a bunch of dumb but great comedies like Zoolander, Anchorman, Dodgeball, Old School etc and I think we were expecting something on that level and instead it was more along the lines of *shudders* The Love Guru or something. |

When was this conference booked? A spur of the moment decision to hold a big event in an arena in days doesn’t seem like something that would happen unless they had something planned. Like they wanted to have an element of Cody being manipulated by The Rock and for him to catch on. Perhaps they wanted more than “Cody goes for Roman again.” I’m not saying I’m right, but I really don’t think we can say 100 percent for sure one way or the other. This press event didn't happen to build up Cody Rhodes, this press event happened because sports media is all over one location for the Superbowl and WWE wants to fight for some headlines; there's a reason they specifically announced it after The Rock and used him as the selling point for it. It was booked weeks in advance, minimum. There was no element of Cody being manipulated. They showed nothing. THey conveyed nothing. Tonight, Cody came out and said "nuh-uh" and Rock got mad. We can say 100%. We can. The manipulated part was shown with Rock and Roman being chummy and hugging when they were discussing the match at the presser. In storyline, Cody probably had Rock selling him on his hatred for Roman and wanting to overtake him as Head of the Table. |

I also like the idea of Bloodline Rock as a heel as opposed to just another rehash of Hollywood or Corporate Rock.
It feels like this weird mix of his early Nation run and Authority-era HHH. Easier to hate.

No no no no terrible idea man. Stuff like that shouldn't be a throwaway line in a wrestling promo. Fair enough, but it just urks me to no end that Rocky Johnson's crimes are glossed over and the man is still put on a pedastal as a wrestling icon and a man who built up the industry. He was a piece of shit, but nobody knows he is a piece of shit because everyone in the wrestling business just talks about how great he was. He was a piece of shit rapist and child groomer and should be treated like every other rapist and child groomer. I agree with you. I know about the stuff he did but him and Dwayne aren't even close and it would be inappropriate to bring that up. |

I can't believe it, this is supposed to be about Cody and not Rock, and nobody mentioned Cody's guest spot on Warehouse 13. I loved that show. |

I've seen I think every single movie he's been in give or take one or two, and either Hobbs & Shaw or Red Notice is his worst movie. His best is Fast Five. This is official and binding. I'd call Moana his best movie, personally, but yeah. Also worthy of mention for not being good would be Central Intelligence, I think. |

Moana is up there too but Fast Five is basically a classic action movie in my eyes. Central Intelligence also is bad but it doesn't have the stink of Rock being too arrogant to appear vulnerable at all. Which hey he's managed to maybe turn that into his heel character in this feud? Also, I have a framed 'Skyscraper' poster in my kitchen. It's my favorite Rock movie (Fast Five is #2). Skyscraper is a perfect 82 minute action movie starring The Rock and Neve Campbell. It's all tenderloin filet mignon. The best 80s action movie made outside of the 80s.
Additionally, as a New York University graduate with a BA in Cinema Studies, I exclusively refer to 'The Rundown' by it's originally shooting and foreign release title 'Hellderado."

All this being said I am not psyched about The Rock wrestling in ANY capacity still Multi Man match might mask him a bit more but this dude is getting gassed cutting PROMOS after an ENTRANCE. Dude might pass out after he has to walk the mile long Mania ramp lmfao Maybe they'll bring back the Mania 3 entrance carts just for him. |
