Too many cooks, Rock is overshadowing Roman, Cody barely talks, all four of them seem to be uncomfortable when in the ring together. Now the night 1 match is booked I'd like to see Cody and Reigns to have a few one on one promos and Cody can recruit Jey & Sami to take on the Bloodline in 6 man matches. Seth can concentrate on his title match for WM and Rock can stay away for a few weeks. The four of them together isn't clicking.

TCF, wasting time on an overlong Kross vs. Lashley match that no one cared about was just dumb booking as well. For all the worries that Seth was gonna get “massacred” tonight, he was cooking here. People keep downplaying seth, and it blows my mind. The crowd loves him and he can hang. Folks online be tripping

In general I think Seth is the only one in this story at the moment who feels like he's actually trying to make it work. Rock's entirely hung up on himself, Cody feels like he's on autopilot, and Roman basically isn't there.

Ya gotta look at it from their perspectives: Roman knows he’s upstaged by Rock, so his dgaf uber boss swagga takes a hit. Cody has to be careful cause the crowd could easily turn back to Rocky ironically now that he’s heel.
Seth’s got no f***s to give. It reads. You see the reaction it got.

Roman being the least impressive guy in thus story…pretty apropos after so many years of him being quote “the man”.

I really don't understand why the WWE always over complicates its storylines.
it doesn't make them better.
This, having Cody lose last year when they were given a layup, Roman vs. Cena... (The guy that demands respect and to be treated like a big deal while taking shortcuts vs. the guy whose entire character mythos was about a hard work ethic and respect... it f***ing writes itself without needing to bring in shooty comments that cant be settled in a wrestling match)

Holy crap that was hard to sit through. I thought you guys were just being hard on the promo, but no, that was rough. Roman got the presence of Jimmy Uso back there laughing like the Rock’s lapdog. Not enjoying this turn of events for the Tribal Chief and this is gonna go down as a whimpering end to his title reign when it really could have been great.

So I guess the Bloodline being homophobic is just a continuing part of this story now, wonderful. I missed this line from him, what was it?

I dunno, I’m fine with this heel Rock stuff, and Seth is “finally on the board” with this promo and the chant getting over. Looking forward to night one

Heck, even with how good Kofimania was, most of that was gauntlet matches because that one gauntlet match was a ratings hit, you do it again and again clearly. I’ll say it until my face goes red; you’re in Philadelphia. You’re likely inducting Sylvester Stallone in the HOF this year. Just do Rocky II. Cody has extra motivation to overcome the built up, ally filled champion in Roman. Have him run up the Rocky steps in the build. It’s so simple.

Roman is the one who wants the rematch while Cody only agrees to it because he's broke?

Hell I can believe it how often does Roman actually work? Yeah he wins when he's around... but he can't possibly be making that much money from the winner purse to take like 6 month vacations... edit: Yes I realized that it said Cody was broke... I prefer my version... >_>

And then one person explain why all of that is happening on an Instagram promo because you know you aren’t able to say it on TV despite having 20 minutes to do so. Like, they’re so glad people don’t really remember builds that much because they seem to love to add unnecessary details to easy stories that the more casual watcher would get. I mean, in kayfabe WWE talent are terribly paid so sure. Hell I can believe it how often does Roman actually work? Yeah he wins when he's around... but he can't possibly be making that much money from the winner purse to take like 6 month vacations... It would sort of explain why HHH would happily make a new belt for Seth to have because, hey, they ain’t paying the guy weekly. Might as well amuse his main event slots and leave it like that.

Rocky II is a near 50 year old movie. And it wasn't that long ago in wrestling had a Rocky III storyline which was awful I get that it's an idea, but I'm not sure it's a slam dunk just because there is a link to the location of the show. In any case, I agree they over complicate these storylines. Particularly WM main events. This one still has weeks left to run and the tease of a Rock-HHH power struggle still hanging out there.

Roman knows he’s upstaged by Rock, so his dgaf uber boss swagga takes a hit. He shouldn't be resigned to it, right now the dude doesn't look like the leader of the faction, the hoodie isn't doing him any favours. Dude should be wearing a full suit, instead he looks like he was dressed by the same person who decides the look for Jimmmy and Solo. Reigns really needs to step up his fashion game as he looks second rate alongside Seth, Cody and The Rock. I also feel somewhat bad for Solo and Jimmmy. Solo had his enforcer role and it was also implied that Roman was scared of him. Now it just feels like he's just a dude and isn't going to be doing anything at 'mania match wise, and Jimmmy is Jimmmy.
