I kw there is prob zero chance of it happening but... MJF doing a run in to cause Cody to lose would be absolutely amazing. I want Mox and Dustin to run in to counter Solo and Jimmy.

So turns out Bloodline Rules means Cody's going to beat Roman's ass for 20 minutes then a second Roman will show up and kill him then the show will end without Roman actually bothering to win the match.

After tonight there's no doubt in my mind that Cody's taking the title on Sunday. This is making the Bloodline look beyond strong, and making it seem like Cody and Seth have nothing else to play.
Seth and Cody are gonna lose night 1, but on night 2, we get the Portals moment which will include Cena and Austin showing up to help take down the Bloodline.

They're making it clear that Cody and Seth united and even with Jey the numbers are still against them. Even if Cody deals with Roman and Jey deals with Jimmy that leaves Seth having to deal with Rock, Solo, Heyman and potentially Drew. Starting to believe the theory that there will be at least one of like an Austin or Cena as a surprise member of the avengers to help even the odds on Sunday.
I hope that was the go-home segment. There's no need for a promo or whatever on Smackdown and seeing them 3 nights in a row. All of their first Philly pops should be at Mania (other than the Hall of Fame I guess which isn't really kayfabe anyway). Let Smackdown focus on the final build for Jey v Jimmy and Bayley v IYO.

I'd probably give Roman a promo on SmackDown if only to put over the weight of him potentially losing and make the last note of this story directly about him, but Rock, Cody, and Seth shouldn't be seen again until Mania.

That closing segment was so sick. Rock with the surprise attack on Jey, and then Rock and Roman whipping Cody and Seth like red-headed stepsons. This match is gonna be epic.

I wanna go back and see if one of them actually nailed Seth on the head accidentally, you could see I think it was roman pull back on the next hit and a bunch of muting, like Seth was saying hey f***er give me a minute lmao

That closing segment was as close to telling the people that Cody’s winning on Sunday without literally flashing those words on screen at the end of Raw.

It's kind of a thing of like, yeah, all narrative logic and what they're presenting is indicating that Roman's losing on Sunday. Absolutely. But they've pulled that shit multiple times in the past so pardon me for not taking it to heart this time.

I get why people think Roman is gonna win but unless they’ve truly lost all faith in Cody, I just don’t think it’s an option this year. Maybe he’s not the guy they run with for like a decade or something, but I just don’t see them jobbing him at Mania. If he pins Rock, maybe, but it just doesn’t feel like the direction of things.

I think the thing is, if not Cody, then who?
Seth is such a boring answer, Seth and Roman is beyond played out.

I think Cody's gonna win, but I don't blame people for being sceptical.

That's what everyone thought last year Granted, last year didn’t end with Roman beating ten shades of piss out of Cody on the go-home show. I'm not sure Cody got beaten down at all in the build last year. I know he stood tall on the final Raw by becoming the first person to beat Solo. If I remember right he was usually having matches with people like Solo/LA Knight/Gable on Raw then would have promos with Roman/Heyman on Smackdown but he and Roman never got physical at all before the match. I've always wondered if Cody didn't get injured would it have been Roman/Cody at Summerslam 2022 with Cody getting screwed there instead then building to him winning the rematch at Mania 39. There was only one world title at that time and after beating Seth 3 times in a row I don't know how they could have kayfabe not given him a title shot around that time.

Rumors at the time were saying the plan was Roman / Orton for SummerSlam, Theory was always going to win Money in the Bank, and they didn't actually have anything concrete for Cody penciled in.

Cody's definitely winning Sunday I feel. You can't make a bigger story than it is currently. Last year while it would have made sense too, they've somehow made the storyline bigger and better so I give em props as I didn't think it could be done. Right now Cody losing not only hurts him but it hurts Seth too because Seth's apparently got some grand plan he's doing and given his character, that would undermine everything he's about. I feel they wouldn't go to these lengths if that happened. I'm assuming Seth loses to Drew and he and Cody lose against the Bloodline but Cody still wins the next night with help from Seth and Jey. Either way they'll win the biggest part of the night, the one that's needed.
I hope Cody gets the "Bret Hart WM ending" with people holding him up. He's earned it.
