If you still have to ask if he's not, then there he remains.

Hated the WM ending (still do) and wasn't thrilled with how the Brock feud started, but I'm still pretty okay with how they're treating Cody right now. Not a bitch IMO. (Did not see yesterday's match with Brock though)

It’s put Cody over. The win. Plus Cody bringing up that Brock isn’t the same Brock as before actually feels relevant. I think Brock loses their third match. Somehow. Who knows what stipulation they go with. Plus, Brock seems really engaged. Like, he’s giving a f*** during the promos and matches.

While I'm not a fan of the match at Night of Champions, Cody's presentation isn't anywhere near AEW Codyverse.
For awhile there it felt like Cody was one promo away from blowing a bald eagle in the ring.
And this is coming from someone who was trying to see a silver lining in the entire ordeal.
So yeah, this is MUCH more tolerable. A bit silly, but I'm not being told to AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! either.

I didn’t hate yesterday’s match but WWE loves doing these storylines of “look how strong this guy is, he almost won!” while seemingly not realizing that they’d make the dude look even stronger if he actually won.

But then if he beats Brock twice, he’ll be “overpushed” and “shoved down our throats” Hey if other people think that, that’s their problem. I would’ve had zero issue with Cody beating Brock back to back, especially since the first win was basically a fluke.

Brock has been “Mr. Dominant” for so long, that eating consecutive losses wouldn’t hurt him. Heck, it could play into a storyline of him losing his edge, so to speak, en route to an eventual retirement.

This already borders on ridiculous. I laughed my ass off when Brock first got him in the kimura, Cody slowly passes out, then IMMEDIATELY keeps his arm up lol It works cuz cody but it’s still silly lol. Brock had to win. Brock not attacking Cody after might be just to protect Cody but the angles making it look like Brock’s losing his monster edge. Ps also holy shit are dudes legs getting tiny

I liked the match. Obviously the booking of Cody getting that much offence in with a broken arm and barely selling was ridiculous but leaving my brain aside it was a decent match and made Cody look strong in defeat.

That was Brock's biggest singles win since he beat Rollins for the title nearly four years ago. There are much better stories to be told than one guy winning indefinitely.

Even if there are shades of AEW Codyverse, it's just that, shades. Dude has a leash to get the good parts and the emotion that the WWE crowds eat up and are keeping him over as f***, but all the confusing smarky bullshit, Brandi, and the off putting promos where he's sucking his own dick that don't fit the rest of the show are outta there.

It's not Codyverse Unleaded like in AEW, it's a controlled burst of it.
